Bale Bale Bale.

Not just saying that because I am a Welshman but because the bloke is genuine quality and no doubt in my mind the best British player currently. Last summer the policy seemed to be players for the future with Rodwell and Sinclair. This summer we have to look at quality players that will fit in the team straight away.

In terms of players leaving, think it would be ludicrous to sell Barry at this point. Can see Real going all out for Silva though. Guardiola factor at Bayern might prize some of our players away, you can't deny a lot of players want to play for him.

So which of your players do you think would make it into the Bayern Munich side...
Kompany, Clichy, Silva, Yaya Toure(maybe), Aguero
Neuer
Lahm Kompany Bastuber Clichy
Yaya Schweinsteiger
Robben Silva Ribery
Aguero

Ok, hammer me all you want but I'd like Bannan from Villa! He's fairly a carbon copy of Barry from what I've seen and I think a couple of years along side him and we'd have a perfect replacement!

Oh and the obvious Cavani/Falcao/De Rossi/Bale/Alonsi blah blah blah
I really really really hope your wumming
You hope his wumming is what?

Re: who would u like us to sign and sell in the summer?

Been reading that Mancini is keen on Jovetic. If we're going to spend 25m for a support striker, why not go for the best and get Suarez? He looked amazing against Arsenal, didn't know he could pass like that. He has pace, can beat a defender and put in a cross as well. Might want to leave Liverpool soon if their owners don't get serious.

He would be great partnered with someone like Kun.

Re: who would u like us to sign and sell in the summer?

Outgoing:
(from the current first team squad)
Maicon - He's still only 31 but has struggled for fitness since signing. I think he was purchased to provide support in light of Micah's injury record, but it's a role he hasn't been able to fill since the start of the season, either due to lack of fitness or form.
Kolo - His contract expires at the end of the season. While he's still a strong player, we in my opinion have three stronger centre backs at the club. At 31 he's not likely to improve and is taking up a place in the squad which could be filled by a younger player with room to develop and improve.
Tevez - Still a great striker, but he only has one year left on his contract and is unlikely to sign an extension. He's obviously a player which we will need to replace whether he leaves the club this summer or next. Selling this summer we would perhaps still be able to command a fee. It would also hopefully mean that the price of the striker we're targeting as a replacement would be lower.

(other players)
Bridge - Wabara - Boyata - McGivern - Ibrahim - Santa Cruz - Scapuzzi

Incoming:
Marquinhos - Young Brazilian central defender that we've been linked fairly heavily with. Having watched him a few times during his current loan spell at Roma he looks like the perfect understudy for Kompany. He reads the game well, and makes a number of interceptions. He's also pretty fast which is perhaps a trait lacking amongst of current set of centre backs.
Falcao - He doesn't need much of a explanation. He's proven when it comes to scoring in almost all situations. Obviously we would face some stiff competition and might not get him but I'd make him our number one target. I think he'd give us an edge that we occasionally lack when trying to break down teams who are content to sit back and defend in numbers. While he's got great movement to create space and get in behind defences, he's also comfortable with the ball with defenders in front of him.

Squad:
That would leave us with a strong squad of 23 players eligible for both the Premier League and Champions League.

GK: Hart - Pantilimon - Wright
RB: Zabaleta - Richards
LB: Clichy - Kolarov
CB: Kompany - Lescott - Nastasic - Marquinhos
CM: Yaya - Barry - Garcia - Rodwell
AM: Silva - Milner - Nasri - Sinclair
CF: Falcao - Aguero - Dzeko - Guidetti

Re: who would u like us to sign and sell in the summer?

Falcao , easily the correct player for our style, he has all the attributes to unlock qpr style defending.

Something tells me Cavani would be better with/for us, more of a team player working extremely hard all over the pitch really. I just see him adapting better to the PL than Falcao.

The Colombian might be the more clinical of them two, but Cavani is definitely clinical enough.

BARRY OUT

Fuck off with that shit!!

What the fuck?
Who left the 't' off this fuckwit's username?
Leave it out! I just think he will be on his way in the summer (with all this talk about young players/resale value etc with Txiki), so I planned around that
Yes but Barry is already there we would get £8 million max for him and have to spend £20 million when Barry is still the best at what he does.
Fed up with this Txiki bollocks (not just you here)
He has not said one thing and we have signed nobody and dont appear to be until the summer yet we all look up like he is some messiah, he isn't the manager

I rate cavani, but falcao would suit better for me because of his insane aerial abilities and his clincal finishing in tight spaces with both feet.

------------Hart---------------
Zabaleta---Kompany---Nastasic----Clichy
--------Fellaini---Barry------------
-------------Yaya----------------
------Silva----------Aguero
-------------Falcao--------------

Subs: Panti, Lescott/Kolarov, Richards, Garcia, Milner, Dzeko, Deulofeu/Nasri

Loans: Guidetti (loan to Everton as part of Fellaini deal or other premier league club for first half of season), Will Hughes (Loaned back to Derby for second half of season)

Youth: Buy Halilovic from dinamo, Rekik, Suarez, Ntcham, Lopes all stay for first half of season to participate in League Cup and/or Next Gen series, before hopefully getting a good loan in the second half of the season, with the exception of rekik staying for cover.

Second XI:

---------------Panti-------------
Richards---Rekik----Lescott----Kolarov
--------Garcia----Rodwell-----------
---Milner-----Nasri------Deuolofeu
--------------Dzeko---------------

And that, should be us set for at least two/three years.

Sell Kolorov buy Bains from Everton.

Sell Lescott buy another young CD like Roma's Marquinhos etc..

Resign Kolo on 1 year contract. He can play a number of positions and has been good this year.

Sell Tevez and Dzeko just not consistent enough. Take another run at Jovetic & either Falcao, Cavani or Neymar.

Sell Nasri. He has not lived up to the hype at all. Overpaid and number of good games he's had can be counted on one hand. Buy Isco.

Sign Fernandinho and a young pacy winger.

Buy

Cavani 42m - work rate and incredible striker, must get this deal locked in as no,1 priority

Deulofeu 8.1m - He wants 1st team action, he'd replace Nasri for me on Leftside of attack (who is criminally overpaid)

Fellaini 20m - I know he has a propensity to be dirty, but he can be pushed up like Yaya to aid attack easily, very quick feet for a big lanky lad. I would play him and Yaya together. With Barry / Garcia as subs.

Digne 8m - Rated youngster for Clichy understudy to replace Kolarov.

Samba 6m - Rescue him from QPR relegation, I rate him as someone to take Kolo experience role as Rekik learns the ropes. Grab him for a bargain price, promise him champs league but not big wages.

2 others for the future

Alen Halilovic - maybe give him a cup run but mainly for the future rightside attack opposite Deulofeu.

Omar Abdulrahman - Loan out to Feyenoord for a season to toughen him up. if he doesn't develop, get rid, don't spend much on buying him either.

Out

Dzeko 22m - I do love him but he doesn't seem to quite gel here

Tevez 7-10m - I would sell him, but imagine hes going to run down his contract instead.

Kolarov 8m - rated abroad at least so should be a few takers, too inconsistant for me

Nasri 16m - Makes me so pissed we bought him in the first place, when we could have had Mata, if he's really on 140k plus then will be a big saving on wages too.

Maicon - Free - no idea why he was bought tbh, presume his wages are not astronomical but doesn't offer enough anymore.

Lescott 9m - If he wants to move on then he can do. If no Samba above then keep.

Kolo - Free - on way too much wages, if he agrees a 70% reduction then could keep for another season or so.

People I would like to see us sell in the summer are, Nasri, Kolarov and Tevez. Likely to leave for various reasons Sinclair, Lescott and Dzeko.

As far as buying players I trust Txiki and Mancini to get the right people in and I expect 1-3 EDS players to step up into the first team.

Cavani-45M
Hummels-30M
Jovetic-25M
Deulofeu-8M
Benat-15M
Halilovic-10M
Digne-7M

Total-140M

Sell:Lescott-7M
Kolo-free
Kolarov-8M
Sinclair-4M
Nasri-18M
Dzeko-22M
Maicon-2M
Balloteli-20M(already sold)
and some young players who didn't prove

Total-80M

a loss of 60M but at this team
Hart
Richards-Kompany-Hummels-Clichy
Yaya-Benat
Silva-Aguero-Jovetic/Deulofeu
Cavani

will rip the PL apart for some years..!!!!!

bench:Pantilimon-Nastasic-Digne-Garcia-Milner-D.Suarez-Guidetti

Players that will be leaving on a free so no income are

Kolo
Bridge
Cruz
Wright

Defenders that could be sold (figures are conservative)

Lescott £7mill
Kola £7mill
Macon £1mill
Boyata £0.5mill

If these were to be sold we would need to buy a RB and a CB as Zab could cover LB. I would go with Kelly and Hummels. Kelley can play RB and CB and would cost circa 8mill. Hummels is our ball playing CB circa £28mill. That would be 4 defenders out and 2 in so a good saving could be made on wages here.

Midfielders that could be sold

Nasri £18mill
Barry £4mill
Milner £8mill
Sinclair £3mill
Garcia £7mill

In reality not all these will go or should go. Most likely it will be just Nasri and Sinclair. I would replace these 2 with Gotze as he can play in the middle or out wide. Likely cost circa £27mill.
If Garcia does go then I would go for a quality box to box midfielder.

Strikers that could be sold

Tevez £8mill
Dzeko £18mill

I would buy Falcoa £45mill and promote Guidetti. I don't think we will have more than 3 strikers next season.

Total net spend 40-50mill.

So one of our best players this season and one of the most consistent since the takeover. doesn't even get on the bench.

Tevez & Aguero are better Footballers than Falcao and Cavani, and both of them can be +20 goals striker per season when provided with good service.

Dzeko is one of the best " Finishers" in Europe

Guidetti is one of the most promising young strikers

IF City wants to improve their striking force and wants a better footballer than the mentioned above, then there is only Messi, Ronaldo or Suarez.

If they want better "target man" or lets say " fox in the box", then you can look at Ibrahimovic, Falcao or Cavani.

I am not sure that spending +40 Million on another striker is good idea.

Whilst I think Aguero is technically a better player I don't think Tevez is, but his brilliant work rate goes some way to compensate. I think Falcao is a better finisher than either, with movement and positioning equal to that of Aguero. Cavani, whilst not as good, is better than Tevez in my opinion.

Dzeko may be a good finisher when it's on a plate for him, and when he does get in a decent position for a cross he can head it in, but because he's slow and has a very poor first touch for an international striker he limits the amount of chances he gets. Cavani or Falcao are both better because of their superior touch and movement.

Ideally we'd have Aguero and Falcao as first choice, with Tevez and Guidetti in the squad. I'd move Dzeko on, he's ok, but Falcao is awesome. And awesome is what we need, not just ok.
