Who would you remove from the Squad?

See if i can pick my 25:

Goalkeepers:
Shay Given (IRL) Joe Hart (ENG) Stuart Taylor (ENG)

Defenders:
Jerome Boateng (GER) Joleon Lescott (ENG) Wayne Bridge (ENG) Micah Richards (ENG) Kolo Toure (CIV) Pablo Zabaleta (ARG) Nedum Onuoha (ENG) Akexsander Kolorov (SER)

Midfielders:
Adam Johnson (ENG) David Silva (ESP) Gareth Barry (ENG) Patrick Vieira (FRA) Yaya Toure (CIV) Nigel de Jong (NED) Stephen Ireland (IRL) Michael Johnson (ENG) Vincent Kompany (BEL) Shaun Wright-Phillips (ENG)

Strikers:
Emmanuel Adebayor (TGO) Craig Bellamy (WAL) Carlos Tevez (ARG) Mario Balotelli (ITA)

Weiss, Boyata, Ibrahim, Nimley, Cunningham out on loan.

Sell:
Caicedo
Jo
Garrido
Robinho
Santa Cruz

If we bought Milner, i think M. Johnson would not be registered, that could change in January when he's fit again.

I'd have a final squad like:

Keepers: Given, Hart, Taylor

Defenders: Boateng, Lescott, Kompany, Toure, Kolarov, Bridge or Garrido, Richards, Onuoha, Zabaleta

Midfield: Milner, Silva, Toure, De Jong, Barry, Vieira, A Johnson, Ireland, SWP

Strikers : Ade, Tevez, Balotelli, Robinho or Bellamy.

That's 25, the rest can be loaned, sold, or are young so don't need to be included.
this will be the best squad in the league

From my extensive Football Manager knowledge, this is how I'd do it...

First of all, anyone 21 years old or younger on November 1st (I think... correct me if I'm wrong) doesn't need to be registered for the Premier League squad list. Therefore, according to the OS:

Boyata,
Cunningham,
Vidal,
Ibrahim,
Weiss,
and Nimley

can all be used without registration in the 25-man squad.

Secondly, you can have any number of players at your club. These players are free to play in the Carling Cup, FA Cup and - if registered - the Europa League (which has different registration requirements). In theory, therefore, City don't need to sell anyone.

However, of the current squad I'd still move the following on because they're not up to the standard we now require:

Cunningham,
Garrido,
Logan,
Etuhu,
Caicedo,
Jo,
Robinho,
Roque Santa Crock,
Zabaleta - I know a lot of people like him, but he is out of sorts in midfield and too slow at full back. In both positions he lacks concentration and gives away some stupid freekicks in dangerous places due to his concentration and timing in the tackle.

I expect City won't register two of Taylor, Nielsen and Gonzales.

The 25 I'd register for the Premier League would be (assuming we sign Milner and Balotelli):

Hart,
Given,
Taylor,

Boateng,
Richards,
Bridge,
Koralov,
Lescott,
Toure K.,
Kompany,
Ona Hoha (US pronounciation),

SWP,
AJ,
Silva,
Toure Y.,
De Jong,
Barry,
Viera,
Ireland,
Johnson,
*Milner?

Bellamy,
Tevez,
Ade,
*Balotelli?

Boyata, Nimley and Weiss I'd keep involved as U21s squad members. I'd loan out (assuming it works for their Home Grown Status) Vidal and Ibrahim for first team experience.

If we don't get Milner I'd keep Ibrahim involved, and if we don't get Balotelli I'd retain RSC.

I agree that Zab isn't really first team material, but i don't see why you'd pick Michael Johnson over him as one of your 25, i can't see him making any contribution at all until at least after Christmas, at which point you can bring him into the 25 man squad if he's recovered sufficiently to play a role. I think it'd be a waste of a place when you could have a versatile, 100% effort, uncomplaining player like Zabaleta in there.

No idea who else we could get rid of...

There is NO way whatsoever of Taylor going !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you think after last seasons fiasco with the goalkeeping problem we had, that he`s on his way ??
They brought him back in about a week after they released him and gave him a new contract.

who i would remove

Garrido - Pity vote. I want him to actually hone his craft elsewhere
Barry - Dipped in form. Injury?
SWP - Have players with similar traits
Vieira - Good passer but clearly is around half of what he used to be
Jo - Never going to see the light of day
Robinho - To give space for a new player
RSC - Not a supersub so no need for him on bench

Against the grain, i would keep Caicedo

That would be Adam Johnson & I'd keep Zabba over Onuoha
