Who would you replace these players with...

Kovacic (if he hasn't signed a new deal), I am not sure of a realistic replacement for Laporte; someone who hasn't been mentioned in the transfer forum and Bellingham. If Kovacic is a not possible then Maddison or even Tielemens but that is dependant on Leicester's valuation. Even better we get to keep all three for another season.

Trying to be a little sensible (however hard it is)

Bernardo -> Bellingham. No brainer. Different styles but this is the guy. Guess MacAllister would be the back-up option, but he'll cost a bomb

Gundogan -> Gavi if this Barca situation allows him to go for free. If not, would like go for Mikel Merino at Real Sociedad

Laporte -> Gvardiol, makes too much sense. I like Scalvini at Atalanta but he's Inter bound. Kim's release clause is tasty, but do think hes a bit of flavour of the month and dont think hes as good building out the back as Dias partner would need to be

Cancelo - Chillwell, I guess. I really know so little about left backs, Hernandez and Alphonso Davies seem like pipe dreams though, too expensive. So yea, if Chelsea need to balance the books I'd be up for Chillwell, will be expensive for the games he'll be fit for but when he plays he's very very good.

Gundogan - Bellingham

Silva - FDJ or Florian Wirtz or Mac Allister -personally this is th most important signing of the summer for me...people rave about Bellingham but losing Silva's technical ability isnt replaced by Bellingham - one of these 3 does replace it.

Laporte - Gvardiol but Im sure that there must be others as well

Id also look at Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as a player to replace Mahrez and add to our wider options.

I think we also could need a right back sooner rather than later.....Walker looks to have lost half a yard and his form hasnt been good this season....He has been superb for us but age catches up with everyone. Obviously Rico Lewis is a big shout in that position but you need someone else as he is still young and clearly there are some types of games that Pep doesnt fancy Lewis there preferring Stones there before him.

A back up left back is absolutely needed - AKE has possibly been our most consistent player and should be considered number one for that position as he is developing his game there but you cant run him into the ground as he is they type of player that consistently picks up little injuries if you do.

Blue Sky thinking but there you go

Tielemens is available for free

Gundogan = Bellingham
Silva = Mac Allister
Laporte = Gvardiol
Cancelo = Kvaratshelia *Ake keeps left-back*
