Yes mate, they did vs Chelsea last year so most certainly will this year.
.

Agreed. Without doubt these will. Depending on the opponents very possibly open sale or won't sell out.

I'm surprised you are sticking your neck out on this one after your final tickets prediction. You are the ace of spades on the blue members most wanted list :)

I'm really not going to don sackcloth and ashes and flaggellate myself for underestimating demand, mate.

If these people gave a shit they'd have gone down ticketless. Loads available on the day ;-)

Bored of Wembley? Hell no. It's a superb stadium and it's closer to my house than any current Premier League ground so I am always happy to see City play there. However, I am one of those who preferred it when semi-finals were held elsewhere but I do accept that some of the traditional semi-final grounds like Villa Park and Hillsborough are no longer well suited to the task and who wants to go to the Swamp or St James? Emirates would be a good stadium but it's not far from Wembley, more difficult to park there... so what would be the point, other than keeping Wembley special?

Too late to keep it special , loads of teams will have played there over last 5 years, all the play off final's, FA cup semi's etc that's without Johnsone's paint(not sure if its still called that) etc , etc.

That said if I ever get bored of going to Wembley its time to stop supporting City! I might not be able to afford/get tickets to every game but will attend all those I can, been to last 3 occasions but missed out on Stoke tickets, but will go to semi if we beat Wigan, then Final if a) we get through b) I qualify for a ticket with points.

To be picky, I think Wembley is special if the event taking place is special but it is too late to keep it exclusive in the way that it once was.

Going back to the semi's, beating both the Rags and the Chavs there in FACSF's was pretty special.

Having slagged off rag mates that couldn't be arsed going to Wembley because "it's only the league cup final" or "charity shield" I daren't miss I'm afraid, even if I wanted too!

Of course you are right about the special bit, its the experience of City being there and the memories that go with it.

went in 76, 81(both games) and Gillingham then a big gap and suddenly very frequently each game has its special moments and memories.

League cup is better than the FA cup cos more season ticket, genuine fans get tickets, really enjoyed it Sunday more than the FA cup finals. Both teams and fans on Sunday have raised the profile of the league cup,the goals and the quality of them and the fact it was on sky helped, plus my kids got tickets too, don't ever get fed up with success and the best teams always end up at wembley the most.
