Never been to the new Wembley before, can anyone tell me how long it takes to get in and out of the car parks there?

If its a complete nightmare I might just sack off the idea and get the train, but obviously driving is much more flexible around possible extra time/pens etc.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

PS I would be driving there from the south, so I'll be on the 'Friends of the FA' route!

Wouldn't use official Wembley car parks, go to parkatmyhouse.com and book on somebodies drive, cost between 10 and 15 dabs. I was home after the semi by 1130 with a piss stop, took about 3 1/2 hours.
Used M6, M42, M40, A40..........
Was back on the A40 in very little traffic ten minutes after getting in my car.
Try the Oakington Avenue area near the Green Man pub in the search for spaces on the site.

Well I'm even more confused now!

Rammy blue are you referring to the official Wembley car park?

Yes mate, something like £27, I'm very lazy and this is the closest you can park to the entrance. ;-)

Sorry to ask another question but what time did you arrive at the car park and was the traffic bad on the way in?

Drove to Harrow on the Hill. £2.80 to park car then 3rd stop on tube to wembley, was great, quick getting out as well. Loads of boozers in Harrow for a pint as well. Was home from semi by 11.45.
Job done.

Drove wembley from Preston for the semi. Parked next to the ground in the official car. Took about ten minutes to get off and be on the M1 in minutes

Wrong.

Parked at the ground for the semi and I was on the M1 within 5 minutes of getting in the car.

Piece of piss.

I think he wants to see the whole game:)
My lad was two hours getting away.

He said 'within 5 minutes of getting in car'.
What he didn't mention was that, after the game, he got the tube into London, wandered round for a coupe of hours, had a meal , got the tube back and set off at midnight.

If you are prepared to walk for about 25-30 minutes from your car to Wembley you can park on the road for nothing and get away with no traffic problems.
