Who's had some glory since 1976?

Pompey, won one FA cup and finalist in another. Cardiff FA Cup finalist as were Crystal Palace, QPR. Leicester won the Carling Cup, Fulham Europa Cup finalist and what about Oldham they made a couple of cup finals/semi-finals......f*ck I'm getting depressed now

Our time will come and be worth the wait.

Someone a few months posed a similar question, a lot have reached the final but very few winners with Wimbledon being one in 88.

Leaving out the ''Sky 4'' (along with Everton and Spurs), teams that have won a major domestic cup final since we last did; Wimbledon have won the FA Cup, as have Coventry City, Ipswich, West Ham and Portsmouth. As for the league cup Norwich , Oxford United, Luton Town, Wolves, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest, Leicester, Blackburn and Middlesbrough have won that trophy. And some other clubs who have reached a final (either of them) since we last did include, Cardiff City, Millwall, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Watford, Brighton, QPR, Oldham, Bolton, Tranmere, Birmingham City, Wigan and Southampton.

Fucking shameful.

Cheers for posting that mate. I hate reading it, but thanks all the same.

I make that 33 different clubs have had their day out since we last did, and some amazing names there too. I mean 32 - cant count ;)

Missed Villa off that list as well. Probably can't really count them as a ''small'' club though!

Won the league cup twice in three years; 1994, beat the vermin 3-1 (yessssss!) and 1996, beat Leeds 3-0 (yessssss!). Lost the final this year to the vermin (boooo!).

Hangs anorak up for tonight!!

Prior to the Carling Cup semi-final against Utd last season, I think KOTK published an article listing all the teams that had reached a major semi since we had against Ipswich in 1981. It made for a depressing read, something like 50 teams as I recall (although I may be mistaken), including such football luminaries as Stockport County and Chesterfield.
