Who's next?.

Berardi is probably who you're thinking of. Quite the complete striker, he was previously co-owned by Juve and Sassuolo but for some bizarre reason Juve gave him up and now he's 100% Sassuolo's. Would like to see him here, but I don't think he's quite ready yet, he'd end up being 3rd choice which would but an unfortunate halt to his development.
That's the guy, cheers! Definitely one to watch. His partner in Italy's U21s looked talented too.

Just feel we need more than Aguero, Bony, Nacho.

Still think we need another top class striker. If Aguero is injured, which is not uncommon, can't see Bony playing 270 minutes in a week with a kid for back up.

Imo Bony should be a specialist 3rd striker.

I'd be looking at Lacazette and possibly even Berahino. Can't remember the name but there's a young Italian striker beginning with B that looks very very good.

Can't imagine us signing somebody to play ahead of Bony if i'm honest. Maybe a decent 3rd choice to play ahead of Iheanacho, but i've seen more from Kelechi in a few friendly and academy games than i've seen from Berahinho in a whole season, so I wouldn't sign him.

Also I think we'll play a lot of games with just one up top, or a front three of De Bruyne on the left, Aguero in the middle and Sterling out right. I honestly don't think we need another top striker, Dzeko and Jovetic hardly played last year anyway.

We'll have goals from elsewhere, with De Bruyne who got like 12 in the bundesliga last year on top of 20-odd assists, Merlin got 12 last year and I expect both will carry that on, with the added goals from Sterling who I reckon will get at least 10, and Bony 12-15 etc. I think we'll be fine.

Racked up 1600 minutes between them, and we had that weird period with no striker so just one 3rd striker could expect around 2000 minutes.

It isn't as common as people make out he had one injury and missed 6 games last season, there is no way if we are playing one striker we will get anybody better than Bony as a second striker that would be happy with so few games.

Juve sold him completely because FIFA banned shared ownership. So they "sold" him with an €18m buy back clause which everyone expects them to take up next year. He's supposed to be the biggest Italian talent in a long time, no way Juve would let him go permanently.

But how many of those minutes were when we had 2 strikers on the pitch?

If we are truly going to stick with just 1, then 3 senior strikers is overkill.

Ive just been chatting to my old fella whos a blue he was saying he thinks we need another striker because bonny and aguero isnt enough.I said we have iheagnacho whos now in the squad and my dad said "yes but hes raw and inexsperienced".i kind of agree but the only way to gain exsperience is to play games.Any way we both think we could be looking at another striker maybe homegrown.

Agreed .....I am more comfortable with 4 strikers .....Aguero, Bony, Nacho ....Sergio may get injured as may Nacho as he will play EDS games ....one more needed

Sterling scored most of his goals from striker last season, and that was for a shit dippers team. He'd be perfectly good cover.

I understand what your dad means by raw and inexperienced, but believe me this lad has the ability to become world class, learning under the tuition of the already world class Kun will only make this lad fulfil his potential. I have watched Kelechi a few times and his movement, runs and finishing ability for a lad so young is why he has been promoted. I have said to my little lad when we first got him for the academy watch this lad as he will excel through the EDS team to the 1st team in no time..... he reminds me of a young Eto.

He is also hungry to win which is what is needed, and he won't intimidated working next to Kun and Bony

That means we have Kun, Bony, Kelechi and possibly sterling who can actually play up top or alongside the striker
