10 years later can I add Jeff Ament and the great Nathan East .Stanley Clarke, the Project albums with George Duke are pure class ( school Days on OGWT was fantastic )
Marcus Miller.
Squire, Lee, Entwistle and Bruce.
Tony Butler.
Joe Dart from Vulfpeck.....mind blowing bassist in an amazingly technical yet musical band...
And Stuart Zender of Jamiroquai....their first few albums are superb
Nick Beggs is getting better and better. Great musician. Can't pick (no pun intended), but, favourites are
Mike Rutherford, almost plays it like a lead guitar. His fretwork for "I know what I like " shows this
Entwistle
Squire is very "funky"
John Deacon.
and finally, NO LAUGHING AT THE BACK
Nick Beggs, formally of Kajagoogoo...I SAID NO LAUGHING.
He used to be the bassist for Steve Hackett tours, and I saw him 10 years ago at The Academy on Oxford Rd. He was unbelievably good, if not brilliant.
I like the sound of Vulfpeck. Never heard of them before. Are they just instrumentals?
