If Pellegrini wins the league again this year there will be no justification in sacking him. I don't think it will matter though, everything points to things being put in place for Pep and it appears the people upstairs are desperate for him to come.
I have heard rumblings on here and in the news etc, so I am only going off what I have read. But to me and its not even a nostalgia thing as pellers seems to have the charisma of a wet blanket, but if he gets the job done (i.e prem, champs, fa, league cup...that's right quadruple :) ) then sacking him for pep just seems like madness. And like I stated I think its a good thing we have a manager who doesn't appear to have an ego.
I think the tactical turtle will soon be on the slippery sloap properly, and our Maureen will take over the reigns after a similar fate at Chelsea. Of course, forming the media dream team.

I thank the footballing gods that his ego was big for him to accept a coaching role at City under Mancini. Otherwise he may very well have ended up taking over when Roberto was given the Spanish archer.
