I think some people feel a little threatened at times. Up to now if you said you were a blue then people generally knew you were the real deal, why else support shitty City? But now we're attracting attention I think some people are worried about seen as a glory hunter or something.

I'd take the trophies without great football if pushed but it would be great to not only be the best team but also the team that plays the best football. Thanks to ADUG, I think we could have both though :)

Wish it was that easy.Has any set of fans had to put up with such under-achievement,so many false dawns,such arse-holes for neighbours. Generations of blues have had to eat shit,learning to hand it out will take a bit more time .That bill-board was a good start ,but the results of the friendlies raised the old fears,a few good away results will steady nerves. Well I just watched the 'men in black' video on Citys official website and saw Carlos Tevez in the away kit. I actually went "wow" when I saw that. Then you see players like Adebayor, Gareth Barry, even Roque Santa Cruz for gods sake. Man, how can we be negative? We've never fucking had it so good.

Given - one of the best in the premiership and a proven keeper.
Kolo - A leader of men and a commanding centre half.
Manny - Been a consistent goalscorer of 15 + goals a season for Arsenal (even last season)
RSC - Scored 23 goals under MH and could return to this form
CT - He's going to be breath taking alongside Robbie, I can just feel it

Then you've got players like Ireland who I've not mentioned yet or Petrov or SWP so how can anyone be negative? We've got some classy attacking players and if we sort out the Lescott deal then we're going to have a hell of a chance cracking the top six if not the top four. Even MH couldn't fuck this one up - surely?

Come on blues, this place is like a fucking funeral at times just recently.

So people now hate us? Good! People only hate successful or potentially successful teams, I'd rather we were a threat to other fans as opposed to loveable City, the easy 6 points team who everyone likes as we're 'plucky losers' unlike our out of town neighbours who win trophies and games.

So we haven't won every friendly 15-0? Life isn't like FM09 and our friendlies are simply to get fitness levels up and give a few fringe players a chance to shine, as it's been pointed out, Real Madrid had a scare vs a tiny Irish side yet no one is writing them off based on that performance so let's try to get some perspective here.

The fanbase might change? That's just an inevitable part of being successful and it's a central part of ADUG's plans to make us the biggest club in the world. In the modern game it simply isn't viable to build a dynasty on the back of a hardcore but relatively small local fan base. If we have 2 million people in Japan buying Tevez shirts then great! Just means more money to buy another Robinho with!

So come the fuck on! We're standing on the verge of getting it on so let's fucking chill out and party rather than miserly grumble about everything and anything, EVERY fan in the world would love their club to be part of something like what we have going on here so lets enjoy it!

I fully agree with this. And I actually welcome any vitriol we attract at the moment, because I'm looking forward to sticking two fingers up at the detractors when we start winning stuff.

People only 'used to like' us because we were a soft touch home and away and people felt sorry for us being rivals with the shit from trafford. Well, fuck that, we don't need sympathy, like you I love the hatred as it means people are finally taking us seriously!
