Why are City so far behind Chelsea in everyone's estimations

Chelsea have started really well and have a compact, team unity spirit behind them.

Couldn't City replicate them though? Fernando and Fernandinho as a CM pairing is rock solid, with Kompany and Mangala behind as a CB pairing. Could play Yaya CAM with Silva and Milner on wings and Aguero up front. Would there be enough 'legs' and 'work rate' to go with power and pace there? I think we're only missing 1 player with pace on the wings (like Hazard) to replicate them.

Well you have already given reasons.

1. Chelsea have a good history of parking the bus and have always accepted that there are better teams than them and will outplay them. Until very recently the City have thought they could go toe to toe with the best teams in Europe.
2. Chelsea players are fitter, faster and bet set up to park the bus. I have always said City have the better players, but Chelsea are better at being defensive.
3. This Chelsea team already has the experience of a semi-final
4. Chelsea can park the bus with all their best players playing. As Neville was saying, for City to do the same they are going to leave some very big names on the bench. Realistically Nasri certainly and one of Silva or Yaya in addition should be on the bench when you play away to Madrid/Bayern/Barca.
5. Mourinho has history of winning this tournament even with weaker teams like Porto.

Still barring a horrible draw I think City will do better than Chelsea this season.

I like it this way. Let chelsea have the expectation on there shoulders, while we come up from behind and rape them. We're a better footballing side and have got a better squad.

Mainly because of there love for mourinio
We won the league cup ,the league last season but didn't got the credit we deserved and it was always about pool throwing it away
This season Chelsea had a great start and Theve drawn conclusion that mourinio gona win it and mournino is this and mourinio is that and as it stands were only 3 points behind them

That's your problem. You are a better footballing side and you showed it at the Etihad this season. The problem is that Bayern/Barca/Madrid are even better footballing sides. So if you try and play an open game with them both you and Chelsea would lose.

However, a few things have changed since the start of the season. City are showing more respect to the better teams and Aguero has gone up a level in his performances. On any given day Aguero can win a match. When you have a play at that level if the others keep things tight then they can decide the game. There are probably only 4/5 other attacking players at his level and Zlatan does not do the CL.

They've always loved Moaninho in the RagDipperMeedya - he gives them great copy, fantastic quotes and he knows how to publicise, well, Moaninho, and the hacks have a gift from The Bridge. Pellers on the other hand - I've just texted my Evertonian still-bruised renegade offspring that win or lose there's no difference with Pellers. Hacks want more than Pellers ever gives 'em.
