i went to the pre season friendly and got into an argument with some prick as he was saying that they should've played somebody like hull as they would have brought a strong team and we wouldn't.
when i tried to explain we were helping them out he could not comprehend.

i dont like stockport either but i was just useing them as a example of how things could be worse for this city fan who cant handle us loseing away games in the premier league
I can sympathise to a certain extent with what he means. I think winning means more than it has ever done because there is a feeling that we have got a lot more to lose now. If we continue to be crap will the better players hang around, will ADUG leave etc. For me personally, I've started to take defeats a bit easier at the minute because I know that for once in my life brighter things are round the corner.

Remember there are only so few teams that have had success in the past. If anything we are well placed to be up there soon. You could be a Geordie, a Wolves fan, a Tyke, live in Plymoth or Barrow, rinse your smalls in Mumbai bay. Just thank your provider that you're a Blue. I saw us have a little success in the late 60's, early 70's...and I've been pissed off like the rest of you for the last 30 odd years. We'll have our moments. If we don't...say hello to another stranger or two.
