Why do we cry?

Because we get sad.

Well after all the mumbo jumbo it's nice to get a serious answer that clears the whole thing up. Thanks for that mate.

It's odd that complete opposite emotions, deep sadness and great happiness make us react in the same way though isn't it?

Just one final word on my little toe incident so there is absolutely no misunderstanding. I didn't actually cry as such. It was more like a kick in the bollocks or chopping an onion. You know where your eyes just water rather than crying.

So to conclude, that's eyes watering NOT crying.

Fucking hell you guys don't set me off ;)

You lot learnt from fucking Gazza - crying is your default setting at St James' Park,or whenever someone spills your brown ale.

Don't mention gascoine mate, someone was on twitter yesterday, saying he was shelling israelies yesterday.

I heard something on the news about the Gazza Strip.
The last thing I want to see is that fat barcode with his kit off.

When did City last make you cry (I'm not counting laughter here)?

Mine was Sunderland FA Cup defeat 1973. Great City side beaten 3-1 in an away game in a competition we should have had a chance in, by a team supposedly not half as good as us.

Hang on a minute I think I'm welling up.

I cry every time I watch that video of the last few minutes of the season on you-tube with that old chap at the end.

am I a gay?
