Why do you drink?

I like the taste.

Ok, to get merry/a bit drunk/well pissed, depending on the day I've had.
 
Primarily to get pissed but I do enjoy a beer/spirit as a beverage also
 
Because getting pissed is great. I don't like the taste but I like the feeling and If you and a friend go out specifically to get pissed its an interesting and exciting experience just to see where it takes you. Was better admittedly in my youth because of the increased flange factor but even now its the best fun ever, completely legal, relatively cheap and gloriously unpredictable.
 
So any reasons

a) I love good real ales, that's what we do across the nations of britain so well

b) I love the culture of apperitifs (Drinking's equivalent of Xmas Eve !!)

c) I love good wine to accompany good food

d) I love excellent malt whiskies on scottish winter trips to the mountains

e) I love the buzz of it, dammit !!!

f) We are all doomed to die so why fookin stress it !!
