why dont city charge £10 and

I think if we are being honest the reason why the attendance was low had nothing to do with the price, £22 is acceptable, i admit i didnt go today and it had nothing to do with price, the fa cup as a draw is in decline, a lot of fans will probably go if we make the later stages, the premier and champions league has ruined the fa cup as a competition

I don't think its all down to the price on why there were 28,000 it is also down to the football were playing. This reminds me of the football we played under pearce which was shite and this isn't much better. It took ages when Pearce left to recover from the thousands of fans that gave up the their season tickets and never renewed.

Tactical genius:
Petrov on right
SWP on left.
Bolton 3 defensive midfielders.
Nedum on bench and plays a 19 yr old at Hull

Transfer Signings & Attempted Signings
1 Midfielder - great buy by Kidd
1 Defensive Midfielder past his best Vierra
1 Ronald McDonald another defensive midfielder

Player Out Of Form
Ireland SWP Given

fill the stadium up, the atmosphere was so shit, if they charged £10 for everybody then surely the stadium would be full, 44-000 fans in the stadium would have made a massive difference, why cant city see this and do something about it,

football is also a business. adult tickets for today were only £22 - how much cheaper can you expect the club to price this? and yes stoke also have to agree on pricing and my info tells me that they wouldn't go any lower for today as it would then force them to charge the same for any replay - which is exactly where we are.

i think the club did a great job charging lower prices for the carling cup games to boost attendance but this cannot expect to continue...

most city fans need to expect to be paying higher prices in future than has historically been the case - we can't expect the owner to spend hundreds of millions on players and then charge buttons for tickets. it just doesn't make sense. and once the team is successful, as it surely will be, there will be waiting lists for season tickets etc and the stadium will be full every week. i think the club will always keep some lower priced tickets available to ensure people are not priced out but the majority of prices must be expected to increase over time.

This is 100% correct.

Good post.

back to the original post "the atmosphere was shit".

the worrying part for me is that we can now have crowds at city of 40,000+ and still the atmosphere can be shit
