Chelsea wont pay 30 mill, just give spurs 40 and we wont need Nasri.

Three reasons.
1. We want Nasri, cheaper, younger, and a goal scorer, brings something we dont have someone that can dribble from mid field and create his own shots.
2. We dont need Modrick, he plays a little deeper than Silva but he would take space from SIlva and Yaya, both are better than him.
3. We dont want to give Spurs £40m. He isnt worth that much.

Not for me Nasri more gifted than Modric and 40m would just be silly. Silva shits all over him Toure is better defo not needed by us :)
why when Toure and Silva are twice the players? I'd even rate Milner in midfield on the same level as Modric. Nasri is a completely different type of player aswell.
Surely if we wanted some over-hyped croatian midfielder we'd go for someone like Badelj or Rakitic.
oh and read this out loud. forty-million-pounds. 40. we could have almost ANY player on earth, including the likes of Robben, Sneijder, Fabregas (if his move to Barca fell trough), De Rossi and so on for that kind of money. not bloody Modric from the spuds. if theres a single player there i'd want at City, its VdV.

1. He's disgruntled and perhaps might not have as good a year as any because of the lack of trust due to 'gentleman's agreement' with levy.
2. We'd/other clubs namely chelsea overpay significantly for him because he's worth way more to spuds than to us.
3. They could upgrade with the excessive funds received from the sale of Modric.

im guessing thats why Roman got the personal stuff done so quickly and persuaded Modric before Spuds even accepted their offer.

This is an embarrassing post. Milner at the same level at Modric, are you kidding me?! Modric is twice the player - in terms of touch, in terms of movement, in terms of vision. Modric, as was abundantly demonstrated last year if you'd actually bothered to watch any of their games, has the ability to dictate the play from deep or pushed forward.
Any Spurs fan who isn't completely mental will tell you that Modric is the single most important reason for their recent success. Bale was good in about 4 games last season, and VDV is waaayyy overrated. He's a highlights player, pure and simple. Occasionally scores a great goal (and, in the second half of the season, he wasn't even doing that), but he's mostly anonymous. Modric is their Silva - always moving, linking up play, creating chances. But you don't see that on the highlights, do you, so they're both criminally underrated.
