Why I love Manchester City

Well, as my dad is blue, what choice did I have? The fact that City are a roller-coaster team is just a bonus. Feelings of euphoria? yes. Woe? definitely! But never a dull moment.
We're up, we're down, we're shit. we're good. There is always a twist and I wouldn't have it any other way.

About 1959/60 and then he took me to matches that took us to relegation in 63. Then I was hooked and didn't realise there was even an option. Still a one football club fan and what a journey. Thanks Dad x

+1 This as well.

And fellow Blues have always been special as well wherever/whenever we have shared that knowing unspoken acknowledgement of each other - often leading to great conversations and the odd shared pint.

Born, Winsford Rd Moss Side, 1957, and been a blue since the rest of my family (Dad & two elder brothers) tried to make me become a rag fan. I must have been an early rebel.

There isn't a finer club to support. In 50 years of supporting City they have given me the full package.

Absolutely fabulous times and absolute desperate times. With those dark days now behind us, we can now watch modern world class players don the blue shirt and entertain us. I'm old enough to still have a little "typical city" in me, which, I guess will never go.

I also love the fanbase. On here, we are all keyboard warriors engaging in varying levels of banter, and sometimes crossing the line, but always capable of shaking each others hand on matchdays.

CTID is a cliche for many, but so true for me.
