Am I the only person thinking that this is being blow out of proportion. From last year my ticket has increased by £27, that is not an earth shattering amount of money, in fact its only a few rounds of drinks.

I for am absolutely delighted with the prices, and was exactually expecting a bigger increase.[/quote

exactly !!! we have not had large price rise for years and a small one this year is fine by me, did i read it correct in the thread some student kicking off about the £140 for his season card, well sounds like top deal to me, some people need too get a grip and calm down, totally blowing this out of proportion!!!!

Yes, you do. So stop being a moaning little fuck, and shave that bumfluff tasche off. You look as much as a twat as you come across over the internet.
As stated in the article of what is happening at coms, they will be working on the concourses of the ground over this summer, and future summers, so I'm pretty fucking certain the 3rd tier will be getting a makeover at some point.
Do you really think Gary Cook gives a fuck if you dobn't renew? Thats one less 'fan' who sits moaning all game no matter what is going on. Whoop de fucking do.

Laters.
your attitude is awful mate...."do you think gary cook gives a fuck?"............are you fuckin serious?....he better had give a fuck about life long blues not renewing season tickets, are you seriously suggesting you'd rather have passionate blues like RMAB replaced with plastic fuckin day trippers? coz i don't, if i wanted that i'd fuck off to the swamp.

If they are lifelong blues they will renew. Anyone that has been going through some of the crap we have witnessed over the years wont want to stop going just as we are getting good over a 50 quid ticket price rise.

Re: Why I Wont Be Renewing My Season Ticket....

im sorry if i offended anyone but all im saying is i cant afford the tickets now

if im on low wages and my family dont earn that much what do you honestly expect

i love city and just want to watch them play but now i cant thats all i said

Well starting today, put 3 pounds a week in a piggy bank and next season you will be able to afford one. I actually thought your original post was some kind of ironic joke, but sadly it looks as though I was wrong.

It was real alright. Fair play though he's young and appears to have found the error of his post. I wish I was 17 though, and that a season ticket was £140! When i was 17 I was paying £18 odd per match for the privilege of getting into the Kippax. Infact when I first started paying as a 13 year old it was £5 cash to get in the Kippax standing. Thats £5 per match. Someone else worked out the £140 is £7 per game. An increase of £2 on what I paid almost 20 years ago, and to watch the team we now have, instead of the likes of Groenendijk and Vonk, plus the added bonus of a beautiful stadium? The OP doesn't know he's born!

Re: Why I Wont Be Renewing My Season Ticket....

I think the prices are fair and will be renewing as usual. I go to the match for the game. I don't eat the food ( since the real balti pies went *weeps*) or drink the booze because I drive. Occasionally I have a coffee and always buy a programme so that's my match day experience and I'm quite happy with that. We are on the verge of great things OP, don't back out now or you will regret it BIG TIME.

mentally and physically incompetent, non english speaking bar staff

In the south stand they are they same. "A lager top and a packet of salt n vinegar please" might as well ask for the square root of 15343118645.5646 cant speak a word of English. I feel like fukin E.T havin to point at everything to get what I want.

Re: Why I Wont Be Renewing My Season Ticket....

Well I'm in 210, and although mine has gone up slightly, my 13 year old lads has fuckin doubled- I feel for him, he''l never be able to afford that on his paper-round money.

Seriously though, unless we move to the North Stand his ticket is gonna cost DOUBLE, that can't be right City

And like others have said, I don't a premium match day experience, I just want to watch the game.

Garry, I'm not impressed.

Am going to renew my season ticket, But am going to try and relocate somewhere cheaper because I lost my job, Im in East Stand 105, this season I got it for £525 (when I was working) and next season its £515.

I was looking at some of the prices that there giving for next season, Block 119 is £405, Does anybody reckon I would be able to relocate around that area?

I sit in 119 and it's usually rammed mate but with all the new ticket prices and so called "supporters" giving up on the team due to having to pay an extra pound a game, there may well be some available.

As for the South Stand getting something the Third Tier fella isn't, all I can ask him is "Have you watched a match from the South Stand recently?" because if you haven't then you will realise fairly quickly why you pay so much and that you have it tonnes better than us commoners. The concourse is about -12º permanently regardless of the weather outside, getting a drink or food means missing at least half an hour of football and the view of the match is nowhere near as good as the third tiers.

So before you get your goat up about you not getting something that we are, walk a mile in our shoes pal! Also the fact that we pay less to watch our team than most of the top teams in the country and what our owners have done for us over the last two years means whinging, moaning, pathetic toss pots like you will not be missed. I know plenty of blues wanting a season ticket and couldn't get one last year and at least they would be happy to be part of our great club! Get a life you moaning old tit-witch!

Re: Why I Wont Be Renewing My Season Ticket....

well there certainly seems to be a few dissapointed people on here

i for one welcome any changes that might (time will tell) help our beloved club

lets face it there's nothing worse than A) swearing like mad at a decision then turning round to see a small child looking upset or B) losing at home (god forbid) and standing in shock as the away fans take the piss so i think the new improved 'family stand' could help out i know that some regulars will have to relocate but think about it , how many kids will want to REMAIN blues for years to come after not being scared to death by A) or demoralised by B) ? and when old enough move to parts of the ground that suit the way they want to enjoy 'the experiance' leaving a family stand ready for the next genaration

the south stand looks as thought it is being touted as 'the singing section' with (i think) the corner on the kippax being reclassified as south stand (please don't shout if i'm wrong)

as for the changes to food , staff , beer dispensers we will see but i don't think for one minute that these changes have been made lightly and i feel that EVERYTHING THAT CAN include the fans is including us

the only thing i'm annoyed at is the fact that if i want a cheap seat for my son we will have to go to the familly stand , i will give him the choice (and yes i know this is one of the ways to 'encourage' people to move)

i hope this reply makes sense i don't usually write so much just the odd sarcastic remark ;) but i really do feel the club is moving in the right way and remember you can't please all of the people all of the time you just have to consult them and try your best this is what our owners have and will continue to do

and i also have no doubt when asked where my son would prefer to stand ...... south stand loyal f%*k the extra £45.oo :)
