Why is Tevez only back of International duty today?

Does anyone know why Carlos is only coming back from Argentina tonight when they played last Wednesday.

Is it just a case of because he was injured we let him stay over there a bit longer with his family? If so I think thats a bit daft, he should have been with our medical team from the end of last week in order for them to assess him and start tratment. Now they have only got 3 days with him.

Yep, the Argentinian doctor said to have his treatment out there rather than making it worse by sending him back here on a long-haul flight.

Yeah was getting treatment and seeing family, might aswell keep him happy

Yeah - with the type of injury it was - it was best to keep it immobile and receives treatment straight away rather than a very long haul flight.
