Why isnt anyone worried about Aston Villa?????

Maybe because we're 8 points clear of them and they have a game in hand at home against Everton which won't be easy especially considering their recent home performances against Sunderland and Wolves. They don't have any great goalscorers and will struggle to breakdown Everton. We also have them to play at home where we are excellent
 
I'm hopeful that Everton will take at least a point off them, then we can rule them out once and for all, imo.

What you don't realise is that if we are to be the best and get where we want to be, beating the kind of teams we face in our run in will have to become an essential part of our seasons. We are more than capable of going the rest of the season without loss now. We can draw the away games we have and win the home games. We went to Chelsea and won, no reason we can't do that at Arsenal, especially if they field the team they did v Barca. That team is inferior in comparison to ours, plus Ade will want to score that game too. I will say it again though, if we are to challenge for cups and titles at home and in Europe, beating teams we will face in the next 5 games HAS to become a regular occurance, and going off how we have scored 11 in 2 games, no matter the opposition, we are capable of doing just that.
 
You are right they are still in it, but City are in poll position, with Spurs 2nd so of course you look at Spurs as the main danger.

The assumption is that if we keep ahead of Spurs we can keep ahead of Villa

I can't really see Villa stealing a march on City and Spurs because they are not playing well, and have injuries to key players - but if they beat Everton in midweek, and Spurs lose to Arsenal then suddenly we'll be thinking about Villa

Yesterday was no guide but I can see Brum nicking that. EFC will give Villa a tough game so it's not a gentle roll down to the finish line for Villa.

I said during the match yesterday, before we scored, that if there was a hard way to secure 4th place, MCFC would take that one!
 
A)Because villa are a very very limited team. As long as the opposition don't give away free-kick that give them chance to lump it into the area and defend corners properly there isn't alot left in Villas locker.

B)Also Ashley young is THE most over-rated player in the league, their manager is thinking of walking out, although he should be more concerned with getting the sack. They have no chance

If i'm wrong about the above then there is reason C) which is the most important, we are the best team in the league at the moment and our form has probably knocked out any lingering belief they had left. a win on Saturday will more than likely do the same to spurs as well
 
I can see us gaining enough points on you to become nervous. I'd say we will be a point behind you soon enough, but I still believe the scousers will nick it.

Love how some people think MON is walking etc. Nothing like making things up lol
 
Villa have only won 1 home game out of the last 6 which is relegation form not Champs League form. The only club that can stop us now is Spurs and as their next 3 games look extremely tough I am really starting to believe that 4th is ours!

Scousers will nick it? So you think they'll win all 4 games and we'll fail to pick up 7 points from our 5 remaining games?
 
Dont get me wrong, i still think we will get 4th, i just think Villa cant be counted out.
The game against Everton on Wednesday is a game i'll be keeping an eye on.
If you look at the table it looks awsome for us but if you look at the fixtures its gonna be so close.
If we play well its all ours but none of our games are easy where as Villas are.
