I just don't understand why he needs a publicist, he's a footballer ffs.
After the season he had last year you would think he would just concentrate on becoming a better footballer and not worry about his fucking image.

Why do you feel that these two issues (hiring a publicist and becoming a better footballer) are mutually exclusive.

I cannot see how either would interfere with the other?

The fact he needs a publicists points to the fact he is not a model pro and his on the pitch performances will suffer. How many stories of Ireland and dare I say it but players like Giggs etc do you hear of in the press = 0 = no need for Max Clifford

Yes I meant the season before last season. Either way it shows that many players do have stories about themselves in the paper. Which is the opposite of what ch0pper Reid said.
The year in which they occurred is inconsequential.
