He played 80 minutes at Hampden Park mid-week, whereas Adebayor did bugger all. He needs to be rested like anybody else. If only Adebayor had an ounce of pride, he would have enabled Tevez to have come off instead of him. We need to get Adebayor sold before his value depreciates any further.

We do need him as a plan B though, even the best teams aren't afraid to throw a big man on and hoof it up if things aren't going well- look at Llorente for Spain, Ibra for Barca last season.

last week it was "why is Johnson on the bench"
because at this point in his career, he seems to be more effective comin on as an impact sub, he does drift out of games when he plays the full time
