Why we're better than Spurs...

the match vs Spurs is a full 2 months away, either one of us might not even be near each other at that time.

We'll both be top 6 when that match comes around. Top 5 maybe.

Are Spurs still in the FA Cup?

no. But depending on our Europa League and FA Cup runs, that game vs Spurs could be like 12-15 matches away. Our form could change 5 different times by then.
People slagging our form but we were a wondergoal from getting the desired result vs the Rags and a great headed save off of Dzeko from being fine. We're not necessarily playing bad, not great either, but we're quite unlucky at the moment.

Hypothetical team amalgamation{for fun)

...................Hart....................
Richards...Kompany...Dawson...Bale
...................DJ........................
...........VDV...Modric....Silva..........
.............Tevez...Balo................

Would that win the league?

I think our destiny lies at the feet of Mr. Balotelli. Automatic goal scorer. If he stays healthy from here on out we'll finish 3rd no problem.

I think City and Spurs, who is better right now is a coin flip. You can't tell me one way or another definitely. Whomever finishes higher in the standings is better. Whomever does better in Europe is better. This argument will be settles strictly upon results this season.

He will certainly be a huge asset and factor in our chances of doing so,however, there are a a couple of others in our side that need to stay fit, namely Silva and Kompany, who, imo, will have an even greater impact on our success.A settled back four will also be very important and welcomed.
