For all the negative stories and I have some of my own I could tell but choose to keep council, ones like this where nurses go the extra mile and shows you the good side of the NHS and it’s a fantastic thing to have.Go on then. I'll bite.
As you know I have terminal cancer. Got told I had 6 months tops to live in November. Still here. Still fighting. Most of this is because of the fantastic people in Leicester hospital. I had an appointment on Wednesday at 2.30pm for another immunotherapy session. Got seen at 7 due to a system malfunction. Did the nurses all bugger off? No. They stayed to work through the chemo patients. I was 2nd last to leave at 9pm. Kept everyone informed, wandered round with offers of sandwiches, crisps, tea etc etc. Couldn't fault them. Without them I'd be dead.
BB, you keep fighting, my lad. You’ve seen one treble, fingers crossed we’ll all be celebrating more fantastic times. I wish you all the very best.
