Wife in Hospital

Im going in doing an 8 hour shift today, fucking dreading it with the heat, same tomorrow .

I could.call in sick and use the excuse about 5 of my co workers have used the last two weeks,ie,i have the shits, but i wont ,more fool me.

One women i work with didnt come in last monday when it was a bank holiday, she then had the whole week off, what have management done about her ? (she has been off 3 times now in the last 6 weeks ) ,they have given her overtime today and tomorrow, rewarding her for letting us all.down.

Im sick of it all, Im saving like fuck just so i can hopefully retire in 4 years.
There are plenty of twats in every job. The system breeds them. Hats off to you and many of your colleagues. . I salute you all

Actually in an emergency situation it does.
Crash teams have to run down corridors for example. Slim people just run faster.
Imagine fat firemen running up ladders ?
Also slim nurses are able to get down and help people on with shoes etc.
How the fuck does American football work then. ;)

Wow. The most perfect post ever. Cheers J
You are getting me wrong, I am grateful to all the staff, but today i went to visit the patients hadn't been offered a tea or coffee since breakfast, I took a bag of ice to add to the other ladies warm water Jugs (that doesn't sound right) there are 4 women on my wife's ward and they had put them all into the armchairs, and after 3 hours they wanted to get back on their beds but not enough staff so you have to wait

My daughter worked for the NHS on the run up to and during covid and told us how poorly organised it was and how standard protocols weren’t followed . I reported that on here and was “piled on”
She’s now qualified as a physio, Masters, first class honours and starts her new position in a couple of weeks
Your Wife wouldn’t receive that treatment from her, but there are some evil cunts working in the NHS

It ultimately comes down to bad management
She is the most compliant patient you could hope for, she had Hodghkins Lymphoa and went through weeks of hell with the Chemo and Radio Therapy and she will get through this, we should be on Lesvos now she had the accident on Saturday coming back from the match and we should have flown out on Wednesday, hope your Daughter has a brilliant career, like i have said not slaging all the NHS staff off my missus is one of them, but it's certainly opened my eyes how understaffed they are, and the attitude of some of them
