Why is our club behind Wigan in announcing allocation,selling criteria etcetera??

Surely criteria should have been discussed for the final in the event we reached it,it is a full 3 days since the semi and not a peep.Come on City get your fingers out!!

City still get the same 33000 half(minus club wembley) of the stadium. It's just that 8000 of those tickets go out to the FA, who still label them as 'man city' tickets. That's why stoke got an extra 2000 to sell themselves 2 years ago. They were still tickets in their own end but they went for sale rather than via the FA. So stoke didn't actually have any extra fans in the stadium.

People are making an assumption that they sold 22k.....it could have and probably was less.

Season ticket holders could buy 3 each for the semi and I'd guess some bought 3 but couldn't sell them on. Their average home gate (excluding away fans) is about 10,000 and maybe 75% will be S/T holders. So they'll struggle to sell 15,000 for the final.

It is a cup final,i think the first Wigan have been involved in? Every man jack and his dog will want to be there.Even for a play off final,Gillingham who get less crowds than Wigan sold out 40 thousand tickets.

You will be surprised to learn that they sold their allocation of 27,000 tickets for the Carling Cup Final in 2006 in Cardiff.

Wembley has a much bigger draw too, as does the FA Cup.

I am happy to wager your FA Cup Final ticket that they sell more than 15,000 . . .

I agree with your point but did fuck Gillingham sell 40k. That would mean they outnumbered us which there's no chance on Earth they did.

So if Wigan sell 21k they may be allowed another 4k. If not will they offer them to City ? Do you think 4k will be one block kept for that purpose ?
