Dont understand this. Mario was taking up really good positions the whole game. He tackled
back a few times and was our only striker that provided a threat. I said earlier he was a breath of fresh air - it was like signing a new striker. And, he broke down wigan to score the first all important goal. That'll do me for a night's work.

Threat? How threatening is a striker on his arse for most of the first half? He also really struggled to hold the ball up

On his arse winning us multiple free kicks. Sounds like you were listening to Robson too much.

Who is this Robson you speak of? I wasn't listening to anyone I was at the game buddy, there were numerous occasions when he just fell over under slight pressure from a defender... Nothing personal against Mario, I would love him to do well, just giving an honest assessment of his performance

Yeah , Mancini seems to agree that Mario could have done a whole lot more than he did ...

and so do ....

but one or two others struggled a bit too , and it was only really after we'd finally scored , in the last quarter , that we looked anything like the team we should be.

What game were you watching coz in that 1st half he didnt look intrested but he wasnt the only one.Ya Ya was poor as well he needs a rest

Nasty, Vincent and Gareth were better then him imo, to call his performance poor is harsh and wrong.

Plenty of players were worse than Mario. In fact, Mario was one of our top 3 or 4 performers.
