Not particularly, but I'd rather have him than someone like Whelan. I have a feeling big Vinny might not take FFP without a few choice remarks either! I don't see him as the pantomime villain and moron that the press portray him as at all.

Never been a fan of whelan but IMO he isn't a racist.

He hasn't phrased his opinion well and has dug himself a big fucking hole as his level of social awareness and his understanding of political correctness are decades out of date.

I agree he is a dinosaur who said years ago people said Jews were tight and money mad and Chinese were called Chinks.As he has been in football for years he also will remember people making monkey noises and throwing banana's at black players and that wasn't right either.Just because people USED to do this it is no use saying now that it may occasionally be right because it isn't. He has been around the media long enough now to know if he came out with such shite he would be jumped all over so no sympathy really,old duffer or not[is that another stereotype,lol?]
