Ah, but Wigurrn were also fined for not controlling their players.......... two and a half grand I believe it was

We get a £50k fine because a couple of our players surrounded the referee , Wigan get a £12.5k fine for their supporters invading the pitch attacking our player and trying to start a riot by goading our away support , no doubt the fines reflect the clubs incomes , which should have nothing to do with it. At least WAFC have now found their true level bouncing between the 2nd and 3rd tiers of football , because Wigan has been and always will be a rugby town.
