If Chelsea progress past Steaua Bucharest this Thursday night, the FA Cup 6th rnd replay would most likely take place on Sat 6th April.

The derby game (set for Mon 8th Apr) would move to Weds night (10th Apr) as no CL matches for either of us now.

Chelsea's fixture v Sunderland would move to Wed 17th Apr and we could well play WBA the same night.

We'd play Wigan either Wed 24th Apr or Wed 1st May or possibly even the week after.

Sounds pretty good to me.

Apart from the fact that we would be playing on the Wednesday before the cup semi final...... and (if Chelsea won) they would not be playing......

AGENDA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surely if they get through in Europe, Chelsea would be playing a Europa League 1/4 Final on the Thursday before the semi final?

Which would mean a Sunday semi final for city.Very confident we can win the cup.

MUEN suggesting it may be a mid week semi!
Wembley is bracing itself for a big Manchester day out – with the Reds and Blues again scheduled to meet in an FA Cup semi-final.

United still need to overcome Chelsea in a replay after they yesterday threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Old Trafford.

But the timing of that replay remains uncertain if Chelsea overcome a 1-0 deficit against Steaua Bucharest on Thursday to progress in the Europa League.

That would mean there are no dates available for the replay ahead of the scheduled semi-final weekend of April 13-14 – so the replay itself may have to be held that weekend.

And in turn the semi-final between the replay winners and City could be pushed to a midweek date – making it difficult for supporters travelling to the capital.

Neither would i. Work would laugh at me if i asked them for the day off.

I reckon there would be thousands of Blues unable to go.

Booked hotel + train tickets for semi final weekend really hope + cannot believe the semi would be played midweek. Replay would be played weekend before at the latest surely

Would have thought no chance of a weekday semi. Remember the MUEN have got no idea about anything normally so don't get too worried about what they say.

it'd better not be an evening mid week semi

no way can I get to London and back mid week due to work and too short notcie to use holidays

suspect thousands of others would be in the same boat plus kids couldn't go with school

To all of you who can't go whats the chances of you sorting me a ticket out :P

Bonus of being in control of your own diary means you can go to mid week games when they are re-scheduled :S

Although i agree that a mid week game would stop lots of blues going and i think it would effect the atmosphere, especially if we play chavski as its a home game for them in reality and a mid week semi in london wouldn't be a problem for them as it's on their door step
