Wilkie or Atwell today

Michael Oliver and the PGMOL are to blame more than Atwell today in my opinion. Referees make mistakes and have one chance to see it, Michael Oliver decided to be a shithouse hiding behind words when it was clear to everyone.

On that basis it is Wilkie, still not over that.
Nah I think Atwell had it in for us. Went straight over to the linesman to overrule him and you could see it in his eyes he couldn't wait to give the goal.

Somehow I don't think attwell will back to the Etihad any time soon.needs a few weeks rest to reflect on his farcical decision making

I thought Attwell should never have been allowed to ref any match involving us following the Wolves game at the Etihad back in 2011/12.

He had an absolute shocker. Appalling refereeing that day.

Unfortunately the standard of refereeing is so poor and the pool of top refs so small that every time a ref has a shocker and we ask for him not to ref again we might run out of officials. This could apply to all clubs!

Let’s not forget Martin Atkinson, the c*nt that added on 7 minutes injury time in 2009 and then ignored Ashley Young’s attempts to remove Aguero’s leg in 2018.

Strange isn’t it that I couldn’t give you one such example going in City’s favour instead of United’s.
Don't forget penalties , the last one we've were awarded at OT was in the 1991/92 season and before that 1969/70 , so that's just two in 53 years !! Meanwhile they've had 4 in the last 5 league derbies at the Etihad

he also 'did' us v brighton after the league was won and carson played, very strange circumstances

I’m at a point of jackin’ in watchin football altogether after yesterday’s game. The media justification is just as appalling as the decision in the first place, MOTD saying it was was an awful decision and then following up with how the rags played great and followed Tentpegs plan to deservedly win the game! They had 30% possession at home and were losing until the officials decided the result, it’s just utter bollocks and bent as a 9bob note and it really is so mentally frustrating to see such bullshit goin on. Football is the biggest £ generator in the world and the game is awash with money so there’s no way in this world are the powers that be gonna let new money upset the apple cart any longer, we’ve had our fun so it’s time to put us back in our box. I believe they will move heaven and earth now to get the rags the title, we’ll get a bit of help to take 6points off the Arse after they diddle us again versus Spuds on Thurs, then the rags will get the other 3 points needed in an equally disgraceful decision ridden game versus the Arse themselves.
50 years of watching us get shafted minus the 10 years we have been head & shoulders the best team, to now see us barefaced cheated is just too much to take for me personally. It really is corrupt beyond belief, like the France v England game at the cash ridden WC where the country that bought the tournament to start with wanted the ideal final where they could have Qatar money PSG players Messi v M’bop, as obviously getting the home nation even out of the group stages would’ve looked too obvious.
F****** bent b4stards!

This thread is obsolete without any mention of Alf Grey 1981
City 0 Liverpool 1
League Cup semi final at Maine Road.
Those who know, know....
Yes I was there that night Reeves headed ball in then Liverpool defender clatters into Clemence and mysteriously Wilkie decides its a Liverpool free kick, to add insult to injury they get softest of soft free kicks for the winner. Even that "incompetence" paled into insignificance compared to what I witnessed yesterday.

That game where Ashley Young went over the ball on Aguero and we got nothing - I think that's the match where we should have had 3 pens, but I might be wrong. There was one early on as well where Young fell over and pushed it away with his hand but 'play on', of course!
