Will Adebayor start against Arsenal?

Signing Ade was a mistake, signing Kolo was genius, your defence certainly could use a quality defender like Kolo these days.

We definitely could, and that player is Thomas Vermaelen, the player signed to replace Kolo Toure and he was a revelation last season. Kolo's a legend in my eyes, and I have nothing but love for him, but with only 1 year left on his contract, we got a good deal on him.

Ade on the other hand....

A Kolo-Vermaelen partnership in defence=Arsenal league winners

Imho you sold the title when you sold Kolo.

Sure Ade was a HUGhEs mistake i agree, but your replacement are even worse. Honestly do you really rate Chamakh? ok hes probably the best header in PL but thats about it.

Naa, I'd say not replacing Gallas adequately is what may potentially hamper our title chances. For all Kolo's done for the club, he wasn't the same player towards the end of his Arsenal days. He was being beaten for pace, looked more cumbersome and just wasn't the same. I'm not sure how he's coping now, but I wouldn't want him back.

You don't know how he is playing so you wouldn't take him back? What sound logic. I hope you do get this degree you mention in another thread, coz you'd be piss easy to beat in an interview.

But WHY would want to come back??

Apart from wages, arsenal will win FUCK ALL....Similar to recent seasons, the Emirate BOO BOYS will tell you that.

He is 10 times better than the two nomarks you have playing as cbs now, you never replaced Kolo with any real quality, as for how Kolo is doing now, well personally I think him and Kompany are the best cb pair in the prem.

He's off mate.

Can't quite believe it, but Madrid looks increasingly likely.

He was never fit enough for this game and with an impending loan and further risk of an injury, added to personal security issues at Emirates, was told stay at home.

is this for real tolmie? madrid? and if he goes does that mean another plus dzeko?

Madrid are the only club at present who are prepared to pay his full whack wages.

There are no official offers on the table, Liverpool and West Ham both shat themselves at finances involved.

The cynic in me would suggest Ade's little routine yesterday was planned to push himself a litrle further out the door.

A number of additonal targets are based on getting people off the books.

Personally don't think we need more than Dzeko, Tevez and Balo.

i suppose you are right that is a fearsome trio, but i'm greedy and would of liked torres to come into that mix. if its not to be its not to be.

Think we could pull a cheeky switch trading them Adebayor for Kaka until the end of the season? ;)

I been saying for ages that he has played his last game for us. Please lets not forgot the impact of the tradgedy that he suffered at the Africa Cup of Nations @ 12 months ago - he clearly has never got over this or been the same player since. Additionally he was always going to be a slightly risky buy without all the baggage that happened since. Having said that we're better off without him :)
