if the rags win the league, will old baconface retire. He's achieved his dream
of winning more titles then liverpool.
Realy hope so, dont think they will be the same without him.

I think this is his one motivating factor. He will go on to eclipse the Dippers' record of league titles.

As for his replacement, they will get, whoever turns up, the modern day equivalent of Wilf McGuinness, Frank Farrell, or Big Ron. He won't last five minutes, 'cos if he doesn't win them a trophy before the end of August, the yeller and green urine machine will turn puce with rage and go back to the scarlet.

I think he will retire if he beats L'pool's record, he knows the club are going to struggle in the future unless some rich arabs buy them, he also knows that his "dads army" that he's depended on for years haven't got much longer, if he beats the record he'll get out at the top I'm certain of it.

I hope he sticks around, it won't be the same winning the title if he isn't about to have to suffer!

Really hope he does not - they are about to go on a big slide - I want him there while we are winning everything - otherwise their demise will reported in the rag loving media as being because he retired

Fuck him an his empire.I'm more interested in the man that's going to build a new footballing dynasty at Manchester City.

if he does go at the end of this season I believe Mourinho is nailed on for this job, they need a massive character to do it after Baconface and there is none bigger than him!

I personally want him to stay. I want to see an interview with him when we win the title, and listen to him accusing us of buying it, and then the usual crap about not being able to buy history.............I could probably script the interview right now.

Also, I want him to go out on the crest of a slump, not at the top.
