Will Bayern be honourable/professional?

Any team news or press conferences regarding who's available for them?

Parts of the press conference are in the English FC Bayern news.

Just summarise, I'm not clicking on the video and giving those pricks a view count

Be surprised if they field a single recognisable name the corrupt self righteous wankers

They will. They will play with their normal defense etc.

Alonso will probably get rested as he is on 2 yellow cards and the referee is a card happy Portuguese.

Schweinsteiger might get his first start and he Pep might field a midfield with him Rode and Höjbjerg. Müller told about Rode yesterday: If he comes in, then the blades of grass have to be wary! He burns it up! So I guess having him in the match will not be a disadvantage as he is a synonym for eager and hard working. He for sure was an upgrade to Götze last weekend when he came in in minute 46 against Leverkusen. And Höjbjerg ain't a bad addition either - he already played 90 minutes against City.

Could be that one or two of Robben, Ribery, Müller, Lewandowski or Götze get a rest - but three of them will play as Shaqiri has not taken part in the training tonight because of injury problems.

Pep could surprise us and give Weiser some playtime for Rafinha - and maybe Kurt and Gaudino get some minutes at the end of the match - but he wants to win.

--------

Guardiola will rest some players - some start to be worn out now short before the winter break after a long year with a lot of matches. It is now 4 matches in 10 days - from Wednesday to Friday night. Then the players have 18 or 19 days holidays until January 7th when the preparation for the rest of the season will start.

Thanks. I've never had reason to doubt Pep's professionalism.

I mentioned this in another thread but someone made a good point that Bayern would probably be more in favour of us playing a group winner in the next round than CSKA as we would be more likely to eliminate one of their greater rivals, though I still think they must be sick of the sight of us. I honestly can't believe they would throw a game in front of their loyal home support.

I joined this thread to post exactly the above, but I see you already have ;-)

Bayern probably figure they can beat us if it matters and they were unlucky enough to be drawn against us, And since this is pretty unlikely, they might well be happy to see us do some damage elsewhere.

Fcuk them Red Cnuts. We shouldn't be expecting any favours from them, just as we wouldn't be giving out any favours if they were in our situation. The sooner the real Munich team are back in the Bundesliga the better, can't stand their red counterparts. Die Sechzig!

You really think Bayern are worried by us? They don't give a fuck about us, and they will field a team to beat CSKA. They certainly won't want to lose at home. Then again, we shouldn't be in a position where we need Bayern to do us a favour.

They're petrified of us. They are constantly whinging and talking about us, trying to get us kicked out of Europe. They know that we're growing and we're yet another club that will pass them in revenues given a few years, and eventually will pick off their players like they pick off in their feeder league.

About right too. I love it when we smash those pricks and you see Rummenigge's face like a slapped arse.

Looked on a Bayern forum last night and quite a mixed view, although most of them want to see a Bayern win. Quite a few do want to see us out of it though, for petty reasons as well as footballing.

Pep will want to win this, but will the players have the same attitude?
