Well apparently Messi could be gettin an outing on the front cover so hopefully if all goes to plan fifa 2012 should have a city player on the front! lol

COMS needs to be on, or at least there needs to be an option of choosing a stadium for your side. I tend not to be City on 09 because the pitch and stadium really irritates me. The pitch is almost illuminous green and the nets are grey with grey netting. They look metal. Started playing with Schalke because the stadium and pitch looks amazing...especially at night.
They also need to fix goalkeeper reactions for one on one finishing. The keeper dives the same way as he would for a 30 yard piledriver. The ability to go round the keeper without being cleaned out would be nice aswell. One on one finishing just seems to be a bit samey. It could be improved.
Tricks also need to have some kind of effect on the AI. Everytime i've attempted Robinho style step-overs i just get creamed. They don't have any effect on the AI.
Players turning circle needs to be fixed aswell. Sharp turns are an impossibility. With the pitch being quite small (compared to pro-evo) it makes it almost impossible to put together some nice manouvers.
Player runs need to be more intelligent. I've lost count of the amount of times i've broke 2 v 1 and the player i want to pass through is running offside. So annoying.

Holding the 'pace control' button and tapping (not holding) at 90 degrees to the way you're running gives you a sharp, quick turn without losing the ball.

yeah city's ground on fifa 09 is shit its more like stamford bridge with all different stands, making the stadium square instead of oval.. might as well just make us play on concrete

with you there mate. im bury on legendary and last season (got promoted as champs every season) won the uefa cup (for the 3rd time running won it in league 1 lol) won premier league and both domestic cups...only lost once to seville in SF of uefa 2-1 (but won the first leg 4-0 so i just put my crap players on to rest my good ones)
