Have just picked my daughter up from her friends house in the Alexandra Park estate in Moss Side , and three or four mean lookin' lads walked by the car heading for town (who she said she 'kinda knew' ) ... they were all armed with baseball bats!

it's a sorry state of affairs .....

Please make her give the names to the police, I'm sure they'll be able to account them for something.

The general public are outraged by the riots and we all know it's just scroats with no sense of loyalty to their own city's or towns.

These scroats deserve teaching a lesson and it seems to me that this will be down to the general public to teach them the lesson.

For too many years neighbourhoods have been blighted by scroats, hoodies etc and they all seem to be above the law.

Fair play to those in London who have come out to stop the looters carrying on in there communities.

the public needs to step up to the plate, the police have too much red tape to deal with these little pricks.

Lots of rain forecast between now and Monday, should bring things to an end, at least for the time being.

That's the thing. Riots always happen in the summer, just as Shakespeare said at the beginning of Romeo and Juliet. Tempers run hot and everyone's outside.

But if most of the coppers have to spend all weekend up all night it's the lack of police that will be the problem.

The upside is that they get a huge and needed nice little earner from City and United so they will be all for the game going ahead!

I'm more bothered about the Spurs match. I know its a lunchtime kick off but doesn't it coincide with the Notting Hill Carnival? That will take up a lot of police resources.

I've agreed to take the missus to London that weekend. Got ticket for the match, trains, hotel and a show on saturday.

Enough is enough. Too much pussyfooting around by all the liberal namby pambies in the UK.
