Will Smith slaps Chris Rock at the Oscars

So it has become clear that Will was in the wrong but it begs the question..

When is it right for a man to step in and defend someone be it a wife/family member/friend/stranger?
Easy. When they are under threat of violence. And I suppose if someone you didn't know in an unusual place was over the top on their reaction to your woman, generally speaking most men normally voice their disapproval. Which normally elicits an apology from the erring party. And failure to apologize, or if they doubled down or continued insulting or making your woman feel uncomfortable... Perhaps, at that point, a resort to violence is NOT acceptable, but understandable.

Here, We had none of that.
What We have was a mild joke by someone paid to make jokes about people in the audience.
2. Then a hurt celebrity in the crowd. (
3. Then, said celebrity's angry husband, who feigned an absence of anger as he cooly approached the hired commentator before sucker punching the unsuspecting victim.
4. In no way is this example EVER acceptable grounds.

That was so douchy

Kind of strange. Will Smith's wife openly cheats on him, then expects him to defend her "honour" when a joke is made a her expense. If she will not honour the marriage bed, why should he defend her?
How many more fucking times, they have an open marriage , he has been linked with plenty of other women , she didnt expect him to defend her honour , he just did it because he loves her

He only loves her on Wednesdays, the other 6 days are reserved for Tiffany and Chantelle ;)
