Will SWP

Be here in your opinion next season

Yes or no?

I think he will be here for one last season myself.

On current form no and his recent ill advised outbursts have probably ensured hw will be on his way - sad very sad but no one is bigger than the club and his fookin gobshite father has for me at least made me indifferent to him at best,

No, a real favourite of mine, especially in his first spell at the club, I remember being happier about signing Shauny than I was when we went on to sign Robinho, but sentiment has to go out of the window if we want to become a real player at the top table, he's just not good enough.

I think he will stay simply because we need some cover on the wings. That being said, if we buy another wing player or attacking midfielder, his days here are probably over. I would like to see him given another chance to return to form.

I've always liked SWP, and on blob he is absouloutely quality. He has had a bad run of form recently, but it amazes me how quickly fans turn these days (the Dunne saga last season springs to mind)

However for whatever reason, he seems to be out of favour with Mancini at the helm. I would like him to stay and he is a very good player and would be a great squad member. I think he will want to move in the summer though, probably back down sout to Spuds or someone.

If we sell him then it would be disgracefull, and I think the way some people on here are talking about him is horrible.

He is a brilliant player, his for has dipped SLIGHTLY this season, but he's still one of the best we have.

And about that wage argument that's going on, he deserves a rise, he's on 60k a week, that's below average for a top 4 club, and he is a very, VERY talented player, he keeps himself to himself and this is like the first time he's said anything, and I'm on his side.

When you look at the wage we pay Robinho and all our other new players, having Shauny on less than half of that is obscene, given that shauny is pretty much double the player.

If you were a footballer in that team with all those big earners, you would want a raise, and nobody can say that he has an ego, because in footballing terms, he's one of the least egoistic players ever.

Plus, bellamy can't last forever, and SWP is good enough, he could get in any team in the prem, this is probed by fergie whenever we play the scum, he's the best manager alive (sorry) and he knows that SWP is our danger man, that's why he gets his players to fowl him all the time, I'd say that 75% of all the fowls in the last few Derbyshire that shaun has played in have been on him. If the best manager on earth knows does this then he must be good...

Couldn't agree more, people seem to easily forget all of the good things that SWP has done for the club, hes had a slight dip in form so what? You don't turn your back on the player you support him instead.

although id like him to stay i dont think he would get more than a dozen full games next season and dont think he will settle for that. i reckon he will go to villa or sunderland.

What a load of tosh. He couldn't get into any team in the Premiership, here's a list of wingers or players who can play out wide who are all better than Shauny:

Malouda
Valencia
Nani
Giggs
Walcott
Nasri
Johnson
Bellamy
Lennon
Modric
Krancjar
Milner
Young
Kuyt
Pienaar
Duff
Arteta

He's lost a yard of pace since his first spell with us and that was the best part of his game, he's not really that skilful; how often do you see him just run into the defender, or forget the ball. His shooting is ok but his crossing is poor for a winger. His tracking back is excellent but when choosing someone to play on the wing defending isn't one of the biggest priorities.

Malouda - left winger
Valencia - 50/50, Valencia is younger so probobly him
Nani - no
Giggs - is he not dead yet?
Walcott - yeah
Nasri - SWPs a better out and out winger
Johnson - yeah
Bellamy - ubtill he looses his pace
Lennon - yeah
Modric - infeild player
Krancjar - infeild player
Milner - no
Young - maybe
Kuyt - fuck no
Pienaar - nope
Duff - WTF? SWP owns him
Arteta - infeild player

I'm not saying we should start him, but he will be a very good impact sub, and if he finds form he could easily knock aj or bellers out the team for a while, and bellamy says he wil retire in 2 seasons and his injury record isn't too good so is it really worth selling SWP?

Unless we can get a better player than SWP that's willing to sit on the bench, erm, maybe...no, forget it, there aren't any.

Totally agree. No room for sentiment, he simply isnt good enough any more. Dont feel sorry for him as his step dad will tout him around and find him somewhere. The special one soon realised he wasnt good enough at the very top level. Lost pace, average crosser of the ball at best and very very rarely dribbles past a player.

tevez wasnt performing at the beginning of the season.

like the managers our players deserve time to prove themselves, whether they have dipped in form after a good spell or have started badly.

we dont need money so why waste?

Ur joking right. SWP needs time to prove himself? He used to be a good player in a very average side, then he proved that he couldnt hack it under Jose and now, unfortunately, he is well past his sell by date at the top level. To compare him to Tevez is, with all due respect, laughable.
