... if we don't get Champions League football next season?

I'm absolutely certain that Torres will seek a transfer out of Liverpool if they don't get 4th but I find Tevez a very difficult person to judge. He obviously runs his arse off for the team but I think he would do that for any team he played for. He's not a very vocal person is he? Doesn't come out and say he loves pulling the sky blue shirt on or indeed share with us his footballing ambitions. Is he just happy earning a great salary and going home to his wife and kids or does he actually want to win anything? It's not a criticism, the guy is a legend already for me and would love him to carry on playing the way he is for City for years to come but if we don't get 4th ... it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Didn't bother him playing a season at West Ham though. I think he's smart enough to realise that firstly no one else could really pay his wages, but secondly, he has the chance to go down in City history -- coming from the Rags to finally bring a trophy to their success-starved neighbours.

Torress would not look at us to be honest as the scum, Chelsea and the top sides in Europe would be gagging for him.

Tevez has won the league in 3 countries, he has won continental player of the year, the champs league, he may get a world cup winners medal, he already has trophies that even some of the players like Milan, Chelsea and Madrid can only dream of.

So he is not like Torres looking at a career with no trophies - he already has them

Tevez looks like he is enjoying it here, if he's enjoying it when we aint got no silverware then he will be buzzing his bollocks off when we do win some.

That first bit is rather silly, notice "A SEASON", this will have to be his second season with us not being in the CL, depends how he finishes the season tbh

Let's not kid ourselves, the main reason he plays for us is the dosh, as much as I love him and he does give his all for the team, if he stays for the next 3 to 4 years it will be great.

He would be crazy to go...he has a guaranteed starting spot in a team that can only get stronger and who are already shaking up the EPL. Given the hunger for success of fans and management alike with the war chest to sustain the push and the likelihood of becoming a top side in Europe in the next five years should tie ANY player to us for the forseeable future. I also dont underestimate the need for Tevez to extract revenge on the rags and where better could he do that than exactly where he's at?

Tevez will stay as long your Arabs will stay, even if you get relegated. He is a money grabber of the highest order. So no need to be concerned mate.
