Will the Blackburn fans have the guts....

I am sorry but in my opinion any manager who goes to O-T and gets a result like that has got something about his tactics etc.

How many people on here were calling for Mancinis head in the early days? Many many and now he is the dogs bollocks.

So now you're comparing Steve Kean to Mancini ?

Their fans do my head in, all of them today on fb were saying hope we get trashed 8-0 and get him sacked, Keane out etc. Then they come out the woodwork going on about how good a win it was and how they gave it a go, beaten the Champions etc. Knobs.

Re: Only one Steve Kean . . .

Wishing you a happy birthday baconface........hahahahahahaha !!!!!!!!

No , not at all - just the fact that many blues were after bobby mancs head as the rovers fans are after keans.

Fickle football fans can be very dangerous for a club and what blackburn fans are doing is just wrong. They beat Arsenal at home united away..Not bad for a shite manager. i expect them to stay up.

Gifted two goals today , fair play for winning , but will get relegated

Those three first season players all played their part and showed no fear.

Kean will never be top drawer but I reckon once he gets his best team together they have enough to avoid the drop I would suggest.

In my opinion there is little between 9th and 20th and even Stoke are finding it harder to win their homes now.

This could easily be the season where two or dare I say it the three sides propping up the table at Christmas avoid the drop.

Both Wolves and QPR will have to strengthen their squads in January if the are to rest a little easier come May.

Not a chance they will stay up. I really feel for Blackburn fans, I know a couple of them and while I don't share any affinity with them, it's not pleasant what Kean and that wanker Jerome Anderson are doing to Blackburn.
To think what Jack Walker did for them, he even left them money in his will to keep them challenging in the Prem.
The legacy he left hasn't just been tarnished, it's been shat on. Shame on the cunts who've run that club into the ground.

Agreed my old mate :)

There is nothing between 9th and 20th in terms of quality

They're not wrong. Kean's a terrible manager, and they're still going to go down if he stays, but for today let us celebrate.
Why is he terrible? Care to elaborate?

Re: Only one Steve Kean . . .

After all the crap Steve K has been getting from all quarters the Purple Nosed Tosser has turned philanthropist and told his team to take it easy, give Rovers an easy three points to eff up all those managers at the bottom of the table who haven't sent him a birthday card - Coyle is frantically scribbling summat on a bent bit of card.

Re: Only one Steve Kean . . .

This would just be going WAY too far. For a start, we should only chant for own manager. And also, the title race is NOWHERE NEAR over, and we will look like absolute muppets if we chant this then don't win the league. We will probably drop points ourselves in games we'd be expected to win (e.g. West Brom). We must not get too carried away or it could come back to bite us...very, very hard.

Re: Only one Steve Kean . . .

No it shouldn't be sang, Booby Manc's name will be sang out loud and proud...

Anyway, Blackburn beating The Rags today means absolutely nothing unless we turn up at Sunderland and get 3 points.

Come On City!!

It's one result. Don't really think one game should change how a managers abilities are percieved. Because, as another poster made reference to, despite this win, they've lost at home to Wolves, West Brom, Bolton and others.

What this result will do though, is buy him some time. If they beat Stoke and Fulham and start to take a few points from their away games then yes, this could be seen as a turning point and opinions of him may slowly but surely start to change. But to change your view of him just off this is going a bit too far.

We saw last year with Wolves, they beat City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool. That's four great results against the big boys. But they only stayed up by a point. For all we know, this could well be a one off for Blackburn. Kean still has a lot of work to do in order to prove himself.

But beaten United away, drawn with Liverpool away,Beaten the Arse at home so it just counteracts those 3 home results

Sweep
That is one of the funniest replies to a post I have ever seen!
Happy New Year fellah!

I agree that one great result doesn't suddenly change everything and Kean has a lot still to do to turn things around.

I also don't have a problem with Blackburn fans wanting him replaced. However, I do have a big problem with the way some of them are going about it. Some of the abuse has been disgusting and no doubt unsettling for the players. If they can't get behind their manager during the match, at least get behind the team and save the demonstrations until later ffs.

Either way, I don't believe this Blackburn team is as bad as the table suggests and I can see Yakubu firing them to safety.
