Wembley, again!
Will he? I think it depends totally on the formation Mancini picks, obviously. Can't see him starting in a 4-4-2.

But rotation is the best policy in these circumstances. Vieira will start some games, De Jong others and Barry others. Who will he come in for though?

De Jong has had a fantastic season so far and Barry has played extremely well since Mancini came. Mancini's tactics are very good, but can he please all these players? Vieira will be happy to play some games and sit out others, he has a good contract and his fitness levels aren't what they used to be so he will be happy.

Possible midfield for Blackburn in a 4-3-3 could be:

-----------De Jong------Vieira-------------

-------------------Barry------------------

Your thoughts on the topic? .......

I have wrestled in vain with this problem. If he has Ireland, Barry, de Jong all fit, together with Bellamy, Petrov, Robinho and SWP champing at the bit, and Rocky is ready to roll - MANCINI will have to be a genius to keep this forum on side.

in any quotes ive seen from viera on playing for us he all ways leads to the fact he wants game time for the world cup so he must have been given some sort of guaranty that he will get plenty of game time?he left Milan because of the lack of game time.

i can see no reason for this signing tbh.

Great player. Bags of Premier League experience. Born winner. Never finished outside top 3. Born leader. Worked with the manager before. Instantly respected by the rest of the squad. Champions League experience. Were you being ironic?
