Will We Do Business in the Winter Window?

If an opportunity presents itself absolutely, but the winter transfer market rarely works out for the big boys so I'd doubt we have any plans unless between now and then we have something in the vain of 'Bellerin demands to leave in Jan' - they'll be nothing out of the blue.

Players leaving though I could see happening, Yaya finally being away for example.

Probably can't bring anyone in of sufficient quality at a somewhat reasonable price.

Outbound should probably be looking to try and shift guys Navas, Yaya, and Fernando.

We won't ship out Fernando in January he might not be the ideal player under Peps system but he can often do a job stiffening up midfield and resting others, we are short in midfield if we get injuries.
Navas I suspect it depends on whether or not we have long term injuries and how many competitions we are in.
Yaya it will be his decision and will depend on the financial package, I think we've seen the last of him in a City shirt though I agree.

I don't get why we would sell Fernando after he likely prevented us from conceding a second in the United game, and swung it in our favour against Celtic. Don't start him, but off the bench he's an asset like nobody else in our squad.

Would love Fabinho here but can't see him coming until the summer. He would be perfect for the inverted right back role

Dunno if legit or not...

Mundo Deportivo reports a close associate of Txiki Begiristain, Manchester City’s Director of football, contacted Palmeiras to explore the possibility of acquiring Yerry Mina. Manchester City had signed Palmeiras’ young sensation Gabriel Jesus in the summer for a good amount, which gives them some advantage for Yerry Mina over others.

Palmeiras have set a price-tag of €30 million for the defender, however, Barcelona by virtue of the pre-agreement, have a preferential option to sign Yerry Mina for €9 million in 2017, €10 million in 2018, and €12 million in 2019.

would be nice to add a fullback who hasn't played in UCL this year but winter window is tough. I think its apparent we also need another ball playing CB to pair with stones. Otamendi was not good last nite.

you do know that otamendi was named to the team of matchday 4 right?

i love the idea signing new player from South America on winter window.
hope we can sign them before get snatch by Portugese, Italian and Spanish club.

Yea i don't see any logical scenario where Fabhino joins us in the winter.
-Monaco is going to be moving on to knockout in UCL, and are going to be contending in Ligue A.
-also he'd be ineligible for us in UCL, making him a little less valuable immediately.

I mean if the price is right... go for it, but it won't be right.

in the meantime...let's go for South American or Mexican players, who are entering the winter break.
-keep expanding the City Group world domination empire

...and move yaya to China
