Will we ever become self sustainable?

Cheslsea do seem to have curbed the spending and getting thier losses lower these days but you have to remember that the core of thier team isnt getting any younger. Drogba,Terry,Carvalio,Lamaprd etc will take some replacing so he will need to spend the cash again.

If the owners build around the stadium, a casino, hotel, bars etc, and thats a big If, as alot of rumours but nothing solid, then i guess we could have the turnover/profits of these in our accounts. I think chelsea have something called Chelsea Village, and can see our owners having something similar for City.

Yes providing we get into the champions league regularly and start winning things.

Chelsea are one of half a dozen biggish sides in london and historically smaller than Arsenal, Spurs and Westham.

Manchester is expanind rapidly and there is plenty of scope of increasing the size iof the stadium as well if required so there are plenty of new revenue streams to go at.
