Whenever in the past I've read anything about Mark Hughes from the papers and other media sources I've always come to the conclusion that he was a bit of a loner, a more reserved player that listened and then went out to do is business on the pitch. Not a very warm person, more of a self motivated and determined type.
Then later this year I saw some photo's (in the press) of Shauny having a laugh with him whilst in some hotel and I thought there is more to this bloke than meets the eye. My own feelings is that he is a very much a closed door for those on the outside (Anyone that is not involved in the first team squad), which suits me down to the ground. Where those that are in the first squad probably get a much warmer reception from him.
As for being a ex rag well I don't think that should bother us one bit as he is not in the business of holding feelings towards anything red himself, he seems to be a self determined man who is on a mission to be a success and that will do for me.
I will be honest and say I don't give two monkeys where our managers come from as long as they do the bussiness for MCFC and that's all that matters in the long run MCFC.
