Will we win the league this season? No

Unfortunately the days of the best team winning the league are over.corrupt incompetent referees and var are the deciding factor now. They have the technology to make the game better but chose to manipulate it to confirm what Parrry said 6 years ago
We have a strategic plan to make sure we have a different winner every couple of seasons.
This is happening now
If Arsenal win it, it's because we dropped 9 points to the bottom 5 teams, what part of our own piss poor performances against the worst teams in the league were manipulated?

Totally. Got back in it beating Arsenal then could well have sabotaged it with Monday nights shenanigans. Glimmer hope remains but need a big helping hand now.

Similar to what Liverpool did to us persistently for years. They won at Anfield and then dropped points to the teams lower down the league. Really is role reversal for us.

those two Spurs games are really odd. especially as there might not be a side they did 4 poins against in two games only us given how awful they are and in relegation fight. rags, dippers, Arsenal all did 4 or 6 points vs them. but even Forest, Barcodes etc.

They've taken 4 points from a few other teams too this season but not taken 6 from anybody so they've taken as many points from us as any other team in the league.

Made my peace with it, though of course hope I'm wrong. Made my peace with it in January and got carried away after the league cup. Arsenal have been a better side than us, and should have killed us off much earlier than they did. But as big a story is every time they have "bottled" it we haven't been nearly ruthless enough. So I'm not convinced we are good enough without Rodri to take advantage even if they do drop points in a game, and that's been the story of the season really.

No one is not letting Arsenal not win it

The decisions they have had go for them and the decisions we have had against us tell you that

Even with that they have struggled so to say they are a good side is pushing it

They are ok, functional is the term I would use
Wow a triple negative. I read it a couple of times and still not sure what you were saying ...

But really any team can look at certain results and say they should be in a better position. Arsenal will look at games in which they dropped points against lesser sides and think they should have it wrapped up by now. That's the nature of league football. It happens.

So i don't think dwelling on certain past results too much is worth it.

I think when the run in comes, the last half a dozen games, they're the results that should come under more scrutiny because you know the job in hand and it's all about handling your nerve.

Should we not win the title and it becomes evident that Everton game is what really fucked it, I'd pinpoint that game to scrutinise the result more than some draw back in December.

That Everton game is a shocker from us really. We know the task and what's needed over 5 games to win the league and we fucked up. I wouldn't mind if we went to Everton and it was an even game from start to finish and it was a draw, then it is what it is. We were winning and imploded and shat the bed over the space of 15 mins. Yes we got a draw but that's not what we needed. We would be pissing ourselves if that was Arsenal.

We're not a 90+ point challenger, we are an 80 point challenger. Arsenal are no better and their open play is awful. Against Atletico, they had 2 shots on target: the shot that was saved and fell to Saka, and Saka's consequent goal.

At least Villa are in the Europa League Final, so if we take it to the final day, we have an easier final fixture on paper.
The next step: Brentford.

I couldnt give 2 fucks win or lose, alls I know is my love for city never changes, I get pissed off at results but nothing really changes other than I support the greatest football club ever to grace planet earth, what I've witnessed is city taking the piss Royal ripping up every record the scum made, what is there to be armed about. City till I fucking die

Well at least we know West Ham have no choice but to throw absolutely everything at Arsenal in this match.

A lot of people saying making CL the final will Give Arsenal huge boost of confidence but we all saw those celebrations at full time the other night. How often do teams produce a huge win followed up by a sub standard performance in their next game because they have reel all that emotion back in. We certainly did with Burnley.

So , to be clear:
Everyone is letting Arsenal not win it
Or No one is letting Arsenal win it
Or everyone is not letting Arsenal win it

Or something

So we are playing two teams at home who have qualified for European finals. Palace will be one week away from theirs whilst Villa will have won or lost. Villa likely to be on the beach. Palace won't be wanting any injuries.
The negative is Arsenal are playing Palace 3 days before their final.

I think Arsenal's remaining home game against Burnley is pretty much a given. And we should beat Brentford.

So it really is all about the West Ham game. If the gooners don't get 3 points I imagine we'll put out our strongest team against Bournemouth and eat a few for the cup final.

Quinn!

Or Tyler? And to relaunch that evergreen (or tired, depending on which way you look at it) debate: what about “Stupendous!” ?
I myself am definitely in the oirish camp. It's got an Irish lilt to me. And Tyler's voice is more nasal than that. And yes, I know, Quinn has said he didn't say it, it was Tyler.
People misremember things that they're sure of. I do, myself.

And Palace now head to the Conference League final 3 days after the last league game.... At home to Arsenal.... any chance Palace might have their minds elsewhere or rest a few players for that..... could well be a perfect fixture now for Arsenal.

We are at home on the final day to a Villa side that will have just played a European final. They will be mentally exhausted.

Palace will have yet to play their game, and although they may rest some players it will be Glasner's last home game and I don't think a South London Palace will want to let Arsenal win the title. I prefer our fixture to Arsenal's. At the very least, our final game looks much easier than it did.
