Will we win the league this season? No

Villa dropping two points at Burnley isn’t great for us. That gives Bournemouth even more of an incentive to beat us, as they can now catch Villa if the results go their way. And don’t forget, we play Villa last home game of the season, and they might need a win to get a CL place if they lose the Europa Cup final. Villa need to beat Liverpool at home to secure a CL place. What a crazy season.

Bournemouth.

Home to City, away to Forest.

Villa.

Home to Liverpool, away to City.

With Freiburg inbetween.

Villa 59 Points, Bournemouth 55 points.

Goal difference is equal. Bournemouth have scored 4 more goals.
 
Burnley put up a fight today. 2-2 with Villa.

Stranger things have happened, but I doubt they can get a draw at Arsenal.

Palace away is our only other hope.

The draws against Spurs, Forest, and West Ham could cost us the title, even though it’s over a season. We’ll end up looking at those 3 games and the 6 dropped points, which equal 2 defeats.

First 3 games of 2026 I knew we had lost it, Sunderland away, Brighton home, Chelsea home. Seem to recall we had injuries in the back four which of course also included a defeat to the Scumbags.

When you add in since then Spurs away, Forest home, West Ham away, Everton away its criminal really.

I'd throw in Chelsea at home as well, where we conceded a last minute equaliser.

We were leading in all four games, but didn't win any of them = 8pts lost.

Even just seeing out two of those as wins (+4pts) would have had the table looking a lot different right now.
