Will we win the league this season? No

That’s why the posts suggesting they’ve fucked us over and not being allowed to win the league are empty. Even me and my utter optimism can admit that, should we miss out, it’s on us and some of the bad results we’ve had. On Wednesday we can be 2 points behind. Had we put certain games to bed, we would be top now with fate in our hands.

I’m excited for the remainder of the season. Should we fall short in the league but bring home two pots, that is an incredible season during this transition period we are in. Wednesday can’t come quick enough for me. Arsenals palace game is the one where I think they will fuck up. I remember Liverpool going there with it in their hands and Suarez crying on the pitch like the little cannibal bitch he is.

Sunday the 24th. In my thoughts I envisage that little Eddie Munster looking **** doing the exact same thing.

Come on City!!
Look I always said we wouldn’t win it but cmon a clear headbutt and. Nothing and then at Utd as clear a two footed that you’ll ever see and nothing . Just think it’s not our turn and no matter we do it will not happen I yesterday I wasn’t watching it and my son in law shouted up to saying West Ham had scored in injury time and my answer was it will be chalked off and that was me not even looking at it . At least when they win it will be forgot about in 2 weeks time with the World Cup .

Not going over old ground with the decisions, but the maths point out that had we put certain games to bed it would currently be in our hands.

Said yesterday mate, until it’s mathematically done, there’s a chance. That is going off experience.
But do you believe it will happen?

Of course there is a chance, but for all the holding on to hope (which I will do till the end) I no longer believe it will happen.

Exactly.
Has Donnarumma had a single foul like that all season?
Donna has been a bit soft with regards to the physicality of the game in this country, especially at corners. I just wish, with size, that he'd come and claim all the crosses and take everything with him. Otherwise he's a great keeper, obviously not Eddie with feet, but who is. Just wish he he was braver with crosses.

Yes, I do. I think we win on Wednesday and the pressure is on them. We beat Chelsea to win the cup and suddenly even more pressure is on them with us in with a chance of a clean sweep. Their bottle will go, we will win our last two games and they will fuck up v Palace.

That’s my belief.

We just need to beat Palace, get back within 2 points of them with ideally a superior GD and then see what happens.

They need to go and beat Burnley and Palace...the pressure can do strange things. They dropped points vs Wolves earlier in season. Burnley kept Villa draw. Palace players may want to impress in final game of season in front of crowd and to win a place in final...keep the fucking faith
They need to beat Burnley, and I tell you that won't be easy. I would love it love it I tell you.:-)

I like the cut of your jib.

QPR were fighting for their lives. It makes a big difference. I just can't see Burnley or Palace turning up unfortunately.
That is a difference but Palace are a South London club. They won't want Arsenal lifting the trophy at Selhurst Park. It's also their last home game with Glasner. And that's been a special period for them.

We have been through this in 2012 we should understand how this can play out.

The difficulty is beating Palace and Bournemouth, and scoring first vs Villa. It's an unlikely proposition, but not mission impossible.

Invalid question. It can happen. There is some probability of it happening, and that probability increases if we beat Palace, and increases still further if we put 4 past them without reply.

I agree with those that say it's over now, I don't see Arsenal not winning the last 2 but we have a responsibility to keep them honest until the last day and put them in a position where a draw is not good enough. That starts with a 3 or 4 goal win against Palace on Wednesday.

Hopefully they go into the last 2 games with huge pressure on themselves and on the referee, given the 'luck' they've had this season. Still no red card, still no penalty conceded in the league. Both should have been broken in the last 2 weeks, let alone the season. They still have only scored more than twice, once in the last 15 games, so they will feel the pressure.

We don't just give up though, we put in place building blocks for next season. 2 cups and an 83 point season are good building blocks.

I get those that say we aren't good enough, dropped too many points and that's fair but it's still taken some extraordinary decisions to take the title away from us. I know it happens to both teams but the difference this season could essentially have us 5 points clear, not 5 points behind. Not bad going in an off season.

We must beat Palace though, Arsenal don't deserve a trophy lift in front of 60,000 of their own fans. Let it be a small occasion in front of 2,000 away fans. We guarantee that with a win on Wednesday. Who knows, Palace fans might be up for the last game of the season, wanting to ruin the day before a trip to Germany.

I am worried about Bournemouth away because we play it immediately after the FA Cup Final but should we beat Palace and Bournemouth, it will go to a final day. If that happens, and City score first, Arsenal may panic at the Palace.
Agree this is the one that could end it. Iraolas last game at home and theyre in with a great chance of europe.Add to that likely no Rodri. Will be a tough game
