Tonight proves it again. As long as PGMOL exists. We will not win the league this season. Havertz getting away with fucking murder and a clear penalty for Burnley not given
 
We did brilliantly to get back into the title race when we had no right to this season.

We all knew after Everton it was over. No point pretending otherwise. It’s was more a long shot than anything else. Fa cup and league cup win was unexpected. Now we have to deal with the title going to arseholes and pep leaving along with 2 club legends.

Challenge the top again that’s pep’s legacy. Stay competitive and try to win again.

It's not over yet. We all knew they'd beat Burnley, the question was could they put it beyond use.

There is now a clear path for City to win the title but as I have been saying for a long time, it depends on beating Bournemouth.

Chelsea v Arsenal was 1-1. Chelsea had ten men for the whole second half and were the better side.

They look ready to crack at Palace but to set this up is not going to be easy. Scheduling the game at Bournemouth on a Tuesday after the Cup Final makes a difficult game even more difficult.
 
Hmm, I remember saying on this thread a few weeks back (around the time WE played Burnley, funnily enough) that goal difference was going to be needed as a useful factor in the title race.

Lo and behold, that's exactly where we are; beat Bournemouth, beat Villa and if Arse draw with Palace....City would win the title on....goal difference.

WILL it happen? COULD Palace actually beat Arse on the final day? Who knows, i'm just more comfortable knowing there is more than one way for City to scrape to the title. (i.e. winning via GD)

It was mainly Spurs away, followed by another 2 draws against Forest and West Ham, who are now pretty much down. 3 draws. 6 points drooped. Is the same as 2 defeats.
 
And there is the season in a nutshell.

Arsenal score from a corner, play a dour and dire brand of football and get a very fortunate decision from var.

I'm incensed we've not beat them to the league this year. (But the 2 cups is helping).
