Will we win the league this season?

Our experience at staying in there will give us a look at the title but the dippers have had a fantastic window so far and I think they've built their best squad for many years. They were able to take the foot off the gas and still cantered in last season. We've also made some good signings though so who knows. Plus having Rodri, Bobb,Stones,Ake and Kova all back fit will be a real bonus to our chances of winning something. My main concern is our inconsistent wingers and their connection with Haaland especially Doku who is IMO a marginally better version of Traore with less muscle.

I'll be surprised if we don't make top 4 along with Arsenal and possibly Newcastle if they can get Grealish.

Just think of it as an early preseason which may be up to 7 games. Pep will have a good idea of his starting 11 for the start of the season. Besides not every player will play 7 games if we get that far.

They key for us is getting Rodri and Foden back to the players they were before this season.

Do that and it will be like having two £120m footballers in the team.

Marmoush and Haaland have to have 20 goal campaigns - of which I think they will - because I still feel we will lack the elite end product from Doku and Savio.

Need an established back 4. If Pep is still picking and choosing come October and November we won't win the league. A set best back 4 needs to found.

What I will say about Liverpool is they are for once going into the season overwhelming favourites. This is not in the modern DNA of a Liverpool fan to be in that state as they need to feel underdogs and victims of something for them to rally behind. This hasn't happened for them probably since the 80s.

We will be there or thereabouts and I expect us to get a minimum of 82/84 points.
 
I am quietly optimistic at the moment. Some good signings made early in the window.

Time is needed to find a settle 11 imo. You can’t keep constantly changing and hope for the best. In the past you could have picked 8 out of 11 each game.

A settled team that is attacking and defending as a cohesive unit.

Not sure we will see that until the start of the premier league.

Top 3 is more than realistic. How far until dominance is anyone guess. Its could start to happen early bit may take 2/3 months.

Hit the ground early and a league title is certainly not out of the question.
 
It will largely hinge on whether, and how quickly, we find a settled system / set-up and way of playing. There’s certainly enough quality through the squad to win it.
 
Pep just needs to find a settled defence and stick with it, only changing if there are injuries.

I do think this constant chopping and changing of back 4/ back 3 causes too many problems.

Key to winning is a solid defence especially when strikers not firing on all cylinders. I'm not totally convinced of Big Erls ability to top score again - he gets spite services from those two so called wingers.
