Will we win the league this season?

African Cup of Nations 21st Dec to 17th Jan.

So we have no left back again as well as Marmoush. A North African county normally wins it when held there too so both teams likely to go far.

Away - Forest, Sunderland, Mu. (Palace too if they go as soon as they can)

Home - West Ham, Chelsea, Brighton.

1 x FAC 3, 1 x CL GG7 possible LC QF & SF 1.

Only 2 players but 8-11 games missed if they get to the last 4 in Morocco.

Our squad needs trimming its is absolutely huge . But after watching last nights performance and tactics and endless options I am absolutely fucking buzzing !
If we do well on all fronts its a 60 plus game season..you need 40 players for that which a) we cant have b) Pep only likes a matchbday squad of 18 ...which is ridiculously short

Pep has never had nor wanted a match day squad of 18.. Probably the smallest squad we’ve gone into a season with is about 21/22

Impossible to know. But let's give it a bloody good go, and see what happens. If the dips have a blinder of a season, there's not much we can do. And they've bought well.

Mind you, we've not done so badly in the marketplace this last two windows.

Will be us & the dips up top with a chasing pack of 4 (Arse, Chel, Villa & Newcastle) all of whom will be out of the main race by xmas despite Arteta crying every week.

Dips have a history of falling just short when we are 'on it'. Will that still be the same with Slott? Time will tell if they can go almost injury free again and if we can actually have a fully fit 11 plus subs available for games.

In conclusion, yes I think we can but it could come down to involvement in other competitions late in the season or an Alty Taylor moment against them.

We will have to beat Liverpool to win it. But this new squad looks really excellent. We have a lot of firepower and have sorted the problem on the left side which has plagued us since Clichy left. It will be us and Liverpool all the way. I have done the PL predictor and have us winning it from LFC by two points ahead of Chelsea and Newcastle. Arsenal to finish fifth. And the Rags will be in a relegation battle all season with Sunderland, Burnley, and West Ham. Too close to call and it depends on the transfer market of course.

If we get a quality right back its a race between us and the Dippers who have had the summer off

Pep's teams have proven to be such monsters when it comes to endlessly winning and just wearing the title rivals down, even when they're going on incredible runs themselves (Real Madrid, Liverpool, Arsenal), that I would never back against him for the title, ever.

Well the new signings are looking impressive and I think Pep is in the process of creating a new system. We were worked out by too many teams last season, and some of the more experienced players were "over the hill". With these new additions, coaching staff and system of play I think we are going to be up there.

I think folk are over estimating Liverpool for next season.
Slot, basically, rebranded klopps team and let them do what they have been doing for 5 years. They struck lucky because City had a dip and terrible injuries.
This year he has bought. Let's see how he really copes with a Slot squad and key players getting older.
I predict Slot will not win another league title.

City could become a frightening beast if we don't get caught with injuries.
Get a specialist RB and we should be good to go.
